Ran your B2B tree with +150 quant, +100 more currency, +40% pack size and the scarabs x10 and every single map was a big loss. Best map covered half of the investment. I have all the quant/rarity gear as well and have no idea what I do wrong. Is it really possible to be that unlucky?

10 maps? I'd say so yeah. I was negative 250div after 300 maps. Been positive since, but not by a lot.
