I just discovered the bins fairly recently. Not a reseller but love finding treasures there. Although the opportunity to flip is always there! Love the content man!
You are the FIRST reseller that actually gives good sound advise. I have yet to get to the bins but do love a good thrift haul. My best to date: a $26 small lot of jewelry from shopgoodwill and I opened it to find a partial gold designer bracelet sold on QVC for over $500. Another box of mixed jewelry I had tossed pieces I was selling for craft aside and decided to take one more look and found this cross on a cord. Upon further inspection with my loop this cross was from the 60’s done by a former actor that kind of lost his ability to function in our world, he relocated to I believe Belize and designed jewelry for a short time. I sold it for $1200 within 24 hours on eBay. Doesn’t happen all the time but once and a while you will find a BIG FLIP. I plan to visit the our Ocala pay by pound after watching you. Thanks again.
I just started going to our local bins. I must have beginners luck! I have found a 14k bracelet, vintage silver charm bracelet, pearl necklace, silver and amethyst necklace, 2 silver eagle dollars! And on my very first trip I got there right before they closed and got a civil war fork and knife! Just updated a short go have a look!
I just started trying to up my reseller game. My sister-in-law is fearless, but accidentally walked into the bins (an hour away from our town) thinking it was a retail location and she and her big teen son were like, "let's leave before we get cut!" She scared me off of the bins. This really helped me to put eyes on the situation from the safety of my home. Alleviated a lot of fears. I will probably give it a go when the weather gets better for traveling. Thank you for posting footage of the bins and cutting through the hype!
Our whole mission was to try and show people it’s doable, they will survive and it’s worth it! If my wife can get in there with our daughter strapped to her in the backpack carrier anyone can. Just be observant of your surroundings. If you walk in and you notice a lot of loud, pushy people. Stick to the rows that have already been “picked” you’ll still find good stuff! We almost never go get in new rows when they come out! Keep going back and you’ll start to learn who the “problem” people are and just avoid them. Anyway thank you and glad it helped! Now go get that profit!
@@FlipTheWorldtx I saw another video where a gal suggested digging all the way to the bottom because some people don't go deep and she finds actual cash money there sometimes. I saw some lady in your video that was just hanging back watching people swarm the new bins and she wasn't getting a thing done. I loved your strategy. I do want clothing though...but I can work up to it.

I went to the bins for the first time today. After WORK! it was 5:30 PM! It's not all junk. There are some items there that will be inventory and dollars for my family. Thanks for your vid on the bins. makes a lot of sense.
I live in Seattle and the bins that I go to, the bags/ suit cases are the carts that people run to and swarm. Ive seen people literally fight each other to dig through those bins. It's insane actually.
Great breakdown of the Bins! I'm not new to the Bins or reselling and this was a nice summary of strategy. I've watched a lot on this topic and you covered the bases very well.
i love the bins , i just started to go once a week and i always find something special for myself, and at least one or two vintage clothing items too. The thing about the bins though is that I get shoved out of the way because Im so small. People will wait for the new bins and shove me out of the way before I can even get close enough. Some people will even dare to shove my cart away when its already pushed off to the side! But I still go anyways, because its fun! I enjoy the hunt!
Saw your video yesterday, and went to the bins for the first time today! Your video was so helpful, thank you! I found a bolt of outdoor fabric, about five yards worth. Was going to use it to make a dog bed cover, until I comped it online. It’s been selling for $41.00 a yard!!! I’ll get around $200 for a $2 purchase. 😊
Nice video, got my first trip to bins coming in a couple of weeks. I agree you should be able to always find something. With such low margins, even something that sells for $15 could possibly profit $10 if it light enough or lotting up a few items.
You are a trip , I found your video a bout a week ago and I'm addicted to watching . , I love the tarnis line that's what's up,. My mom always tell me why can't I be normal about this or that ,I told her , Mom Normal is a setting on a washing machine!

I had already made up my mind, that like you stated in the video, I was not going to get into the melee part. so we just pretty much went on the opposite end of wherever the most people were. and like you stated we still found good stuff and we didn't have to get in there and fight people to do so.
Hey good advice man! I’m only a teenager so I don’t have a credit card or anything like that. So I mainly stick to selling locally because I can’t ship out anything. When I’m in the bins I usually go for shoes, electronics and clothes. A few months back I bought a PS2 for 6$ and sold it for 80$.
Your bins stores are so nice & organized. Ours doesn’t put toys in a separate bin. I went last week and there were NO SHOES! I was shocked. Mega clothes, some hard goods but no shoes. Best find - 1. a Winnie the Pooh costume. 2. a light ballist.
We have some locations that are a mess and some that run a tight ship. We prefer the tight ship hahaha. Awesome score on that ballist that’s good money!
Do you have any trouble with authentication with those Nikes and different shoe brands? I got screwed on a pair of Alexander McQueen shoes I should have locked up how to tell if they were fake first
We don’t typically come across hype or high end items. We sell only on whatnot but we have used the sneaker app “check check” when we do find items we are concerned about
Just found your channel. I've never done the bins "yet" but I have 2 here in South Florida ...each one is only 30 minutes away. My 51 year ole arsh really needs to resell, lace up the ole 12 strings and GIT in there!

Thanks for the tips and video bro! This something I been considering doing for a while to make some change. I would definitely have been overwhelmed if I walked into an outlet not knowing that's how it rolls. Now I'm prepared! Thanks 👍🏼

Don't pass on the clothes, there are so many, people can't search them all. My best bin finds are all vintage Tees and hoodies, and all of them were picked over. People are looking for material and style so they can check it all. Most people don't inspect ugly tees. Not very many are reading tags. I see the same people in Everytime, they are so confident in what they know they never double check anything. They spend most the time sitting around waiting for new bins that they toss over for 30 seconds each. I know a bunch of stuff too, but I'm still checking comps on half the stuff I end up buying. I passed up a bright orange sweater 2 times and decided to look a 3rd time before I found the 60 dollar sweater, and that bin hadn't been rotated in hours.

Our outlet they just dump everything into the bins. No pre sorting . Sold by weight, .99 cents a pound. A few large items are $3 each. Lucky there are presorted. Enjoy
@@FlipTheWorldtx It's a race for them when the new bin is out. I saw some crazy guy just pick up clothes and toss in air. I know some check jeans pockets for money.
Not sure what your prices per LB is in your area but I would cry if I walked into my bins and it looked that scariest on product! The clothing vs hardgoods in my area are 2 separate rooms, the clothing is piled up about 3 feet above on each bin, the hard goods are not sorted rely that well but I prefer that. DVD's if hard good is the same price in your area as mine comes out to like 10-15 cents each.
Whats a buy cost? I dont get the last part of your calculations. All i did was divide 50.09 / 33 items to get my total. What else is there to do? It comes to like 1.52 p/i
Thanx for the advice, good stuff. I just slammed a guy for throwing the stuff around in bins like garbage. He bent a psych textbook, was it worth $200 or just $20, I dont know.
@@Boostinfit I usually dig in the bins that have already been “picked” so I can take my time but for new bins just grab what you’re looking for so like for us we like jeans. Any jeans we see we grab and we will sort later. If it’s denim we grab it
Hi there! I can tell you live in San Diego, ca cause well, so do I :) I wanted to ask. Which location has the better stuff? And my daughter is super into the clothes so unfortunately, I do have to go through the clothes, do you have any tips for that? Do you know of any days that have less people then others (I am personally an animal person and can’t stand most people) ..and this will be my first time going, so I’m a bit nervous I may get into a fight 🙄..
Do you know where the bins gets their clothes from? What I mostly see people saying online is that it's the last stop after the GW retail stores. But, doesn't seem that way for a lot of the stuff I've seen there. Only been a couple times tho.
Actually they receive donations locally and they have semis bring in gaylords from distribution centers from all over the US. That’s actually a misconception about “last stop”
@@FlipTheWorldtx Good to know. Makes sense. Explains why people find some crazy shit there. Diggin your videos. You guys got an insanely low cost of goods! Feelin that! Thanks ya'll!
Hello, the goodwill outlet or “bins” sell all of their items by the pound. Versus a regular goodwill store that is set up more like a retail store with each item having a set price.
Many re-sellers are pushy and rude and they annoy me so what I do when I donate stuff is if it has a barcode on it somewhere, I black it out with a Sharpie...use your scanner now...LOL.

Went to that store in June. Found a PS3 in a book bag. fully works.
"I'm not supersticious, I'm a little sticious." Haha. :)
Yeah - Yeah! have a game plan. people in that place are "manic". Fresh bins means CHAOS
Chin down, arms up- best defense 😂
@@FlipTheWorldtx It's a race for them when the new bin is out. I saw some crazy guy just pick up clothes and toss in air. I know some check jeans pockets for money.
I mean if would be funny to see you play in traffic buck naked and chewing laffy taffy lol. Good video bro!
I mean......I agree 😂
awesome that true money is everywhere just get some time to grab it......
It’s out there!
I once saw Fabian Washington thrifting at the bins-it was interesting.
Raiders don’t pay much
Once I seen all them people I don’t know if I even wanna go anymore🤣 I just wanna look for vintage shirts and sweaters
You got this! Just go!
$2.19 a lb once over 50 lbs it’s $1.79
@@FlipTheWorldtx Dang I feel spoiled then lol! its 1.59 /lb for clothing, .99/lb for hardgoods and electronics and .59/lb for glassware
Whats a buy cost? I dont get the last part of your calculations. All i did was divide 50.09 / 33 items to get my total. What else is there to do? It comes to like 1.52 p/i
That sounds you got it right!
What do you mean by "ding notification" when you scan the bar code on the back of books?
If you have a book scanner to source for books to resell it will make a “cha ching” sound when you’ve scanned a profitable book
@@FlipTheWorldtx, thanks for the clarification! I did not know that.
Thanx for the advice, good stuff. I just slammed a guy for throwing the stuff around in bins like garbage. He bent a psych textbook, was it worth $200 or just $20, I dont know.
Ugggh yea sometimes we’ll see something come out in a bin and think “yup that’s gonna be broken in about a minute when they say “Go”
Looks good for shoes. Any vintage hard goods?
We find a decent amount of vintage clothing and hardgoods. I’ve walked out with rare vinyl, ghetto blasters and even old toys! The bins is the truth!
First time at the bins today, had 40+ people and it was definitely hectic. Still got some pieces at least
Congrats on your first haul!
@@FlipTheWorldtx thanks man! Any tips on digging through the bins? Is there a certain point where I should just move onto the next?
@@Boostinfit I usually dig in the bins that have already been “picked” so I can take my time but for new bins just grab what you’re looking for so like for us we like jeans. Any jeans we see we grab and we will sort later. If it’s denim we grab it
@@FlipTheWorldtx awesome. Thanks man!
We’re in Houston texas, but stick to early morning time for the less crazy people
I don't worry about getting there early. I am looking for different things than the crazy people grabbing clothes.
I wish I could like you again but you get credit for the minutes every time I watch.
💪🏻♠️
I always permanently borrow the yellow ikea bags that aren't supposed to leave the store. Lmao.
You're the first person I've seen with one. Lol
If they didn’t want us to take em they wouldn’t make em so brightly colored!
@@FlipTheWorldtx lmfao
Have there been incidents at the goodwill outlet store where people have walked out of the goodwill outlet store without paying.
Only once but the manager got em in the parking lot. Also our bins have uniformed officers
Is that a blood for blood poster in your house?
Yes sir goes with my bfb tattoo. My band did some east coast shows with them in the early 2000’s
your doing great !!!!
Have a good, water proof glove as well after driving
Good tip! Thank you for watching 💪🏻♠️
I like your style!
Thank you! Keep crushing it!
Best flip was a rough and tumble purse I sold for $440
Do you ever run into Paul Cantu, The Thrift God, at the bins ??
He sticks to his side of town
What’s the difference between an outlet and regular Goodwill store? Better deals or not particularly?
Hello, the goodwill outlet or “bins” sell all of their items by the pound. Versus a regular goodwill store that is set up more like a retail store with each item having a set price.
If my local goodwill outlet only does store credit for refunds is it still possible to get cash back as a refund through some other way
Not that I’m aware
Many re-sellers are pushy and rude and they annoy me so what I do when I donate stuff is if it has a barcode on it somewhere, I black it out with a Sharpie...use your scanner now...LOL.
Nice 🙌🏻
