It’s a bit perplexing on how so many people Have so many boxes of things to sell. Where do you get them ? For instance I have 1k comics and 300 sneakers ( from my own collection ) but once I sell them ( if I follow your advice ) what would I sell next ? Where would I get product(s) etc. someone please help… 🙏

Good tips! Some of these I already knew. Throwing in the tip of 'wear gloves' was missing here, and I know it might seem common sense but I've been dumpster diving twice so far and both times I accidentally forgot. The first I found nothing and when that bin smell hit me upon finding a skip full of bags, the smell and the flies put me off. I also felt nervous as it was out in the open, even though no one was about and I lost my nerve and went home. After doing a bit of research, I learned I was probably looking in the wrong area at the wrong time of the week and a lot of stuff had already been collected. The second time I tried I got lucky and found mostly second-hand DVDs near a charity shop, a sealed PS...eyeshadow, a pad of A4 writing paper completely unused, and an aubergine (eggplant) Christmas tree decoration! That made me smile.

You are a horrible person. I even hesitate to call you a person. See I wouldn't mind if for example you bought it for like 15 bucks and sold it for 25. You're making a little bit and people are still getting a deal. But nope you're going to charge as much as you can get out of it. Like I said on another one of your videos y'all are responsible for things getting more expensive in thrift shops. Just think about it why should they sell it for low and then you turn around and sell it for more? The money doesn't need to go in your pocket. So now they're going to raise the prices and sell it for more. The only one that hurts are the people who just want to have the item.

Your math is flawed. There are 2 of you doing this full time. One person could not do all of this. Divide your number in half. 25k per person, per year. You will both easily qualify for food stamps.

I started bidding like crazy on whatnot mostly to get supplies to resell but now I look like a hoarder but its all organized. I got to get this stuff sold now. 😊

My thing isn't resellers flipping things for a profit because it is a LOT of work that people dont want to do. It's the fact that reseller will complain about prices then turn around and flip for 20x the price. If you see something expensive then keep it pushing. No need to rant for 4 hours about how prices had gone up and that it's ridiculous because things will get thrown out. I also can't stand resellers acting as though they are doing society a service by buying thrifted items to save the environment. If they don't buy it someone else will. It's just another faux excuse to continue the addiction of thrifting and show off profit which is fine but just say that! St the end of the day resellers like the hunt and being able to make money off of something you get next to nothing for. It's a business and that's it. You're not out here doing the lords work lol. Thrift stores are really the ones trying to get things out of landfills because they clear out houses, pick items up, go through all the nasty crap for the sellable items and then price and hope it sell. Resellers go out to a store and decide if a price is worth it. I know because I am a reseller. On the flip side, resellers are not taking all the good stuff. Everyone's taste varies and items are constantly rotating out so it's all about timing and knowing what to look for. Unfortunately youtubers love to showcase the successes so it gives this false idea that reselling is easy and that youtubers always seem to have the luck which is not true!
