And that was exactly the point. The fact that Derek here is taking it way way way too seriously and the fact that he's taking massive jobs at Ben's religion for literally no reason whatsoever outside of just flat out hating him is disgusting. it's funny because Derek when I used to follow him about 6 years ago, was really conservative and I had respect for him. I don't agree, I think Tom was a classic wanna be and realized how mest up the industry was and how mest up he was, he has songs that have nothing to do with politics and he isn't extreme right wing by far lol did he see an opportunity and took it, yes he did, but I think he realized he was better off following a different path that not only let him out his bullshit but also made ppl love him. Two things can be the truth at the same time, and sadly not many other rappers rap about anything else but clubs, money, drugs and violence.
That’s how I feel. He wanted to be a typical rapper but didn’t have the skill or talent to, or it simply wasn’t good. So he changed his approach and saw a new angle.
He probably realised at that time that drugs were not helping him so he sobered up. People don’t change fundamentally but you can still move on from behaviours that are harmful.

Other distortions to an economy, as I understand it, that increase inflation, or the cost of living, are tariffs and subidies.
If you are a business that doesn't get government favors or restrictions but exist because you are profitable because your business is good, or you are a consumer who earned the money you spend, you are not contributing to inflation, you are it's victim.
