unlocked I'm a nail tech, I'm afraid she didn't. The burning sensation should NEVER happen unless you are doing it wrong. Using the wrong lamps can cause incomplete curing as well (invisible to the naked eye, gel will be hard at only 50% cure), which can result in uncured product leaching through the nail bed causing contact dermatitis and allergies over time. Not such a big deal if you never want to wear nail enhancements again, but it is if you get dental work or joint replacements as similar products are used, and you could end up reacting to the dental or medical repair. HEMA allergies are sadly a common occurrence now from careless or insufficiently well trained nail techs using the wrong lamp or misusing products.
