I wish OM would make a camera this durable with photo performance like the Sony RX100. Having great macro, underwater shooting and great landscape photos, I would buy immediately.
Thank you for the videos ! I bought this camera because my older TG tough that came with the flip screen broke and is now discontinued.i do wish the camera came with the portrait mode like on the iPhone with blurred background, which is my only negative point . But all in all i just wanted a tough camera to bring on adventures without filling my phone up with a bunch of photos. Also because i am not a fan of the size cellphones come in nowadays , even if the picture quality is amazing.
As metioned in the video, that fake bokeh is post processing, which any digicam cannot do since it has no powerful gpu and cpu. But I think the natural bokeh from the shots are better... At least for me. The cellphone bokeh feels unnatural for me. Enjoy the camera!
Hello. I watched your videos on the TG-7. I bought this camera a few days ago, and I don't always understand how it works. For example, why, in A mode, the aperture changes from 2.8 to 8 or 11, or from 5.6 to 18 -- with no intermediate values. Similarly, in "construction/document" mode, the display shows an image that has been enlarged twice (x2), and therefore does not allow framing that corresponds to the final photo (twice as small). The documentation is silent on this point. Do you have an answer to either of these questions? Thank you for your help. Take care.
No idea as well. Like you, I'm still new in the camera. I woild refer you to the manual, see if there's an explanation there. If you learn something about it, please share it here in the comment. Thanks!
if you use a lens, for example the Beast Grip Pro 0.45,withe angel lens is no longer so blurry and so bad in landscape pictures. All you need is an adapter ring from 40.5 mm to 37 mm and the adapter connector from olympus for the tg7.
It's not perfect, but the exposure in contrasty scenes can be improved by putting the camera into HDR mode - found in the scenery section with the camera in scene mode.

For macro, even under water, the tg7 is great. Landscape is ok
Best real ans honest review out there ! Thanks for the time

Hello man, what is the shutter speed on action? Can you post some pictures with the action mode on? Also thanks for the review
Max shutter speed is 1/2000 sec
Thanks for the review

For macro focus stacking do you need tripod or you can do it handheld?
All my shots are handheld... Of course that depends how steady your hand are
