I've never played a dark souls game, I've always ignored them because people say they're so difficult, but maybe I will check them out now after all the praise you give them. Glad to see you having fun with this game though.
That's a surprise! I always thought people pick up souls-likes only after trying out the From Software games first. If you are a HK master, and I assume you are, you should be able to handle the Souls games 😋 A lot of the same skills and knowledge apply to both HK and DS, I think!
To be honest you haven't fought the hardest bosses yet, so far all the bosses you've faced on a scale of 1 to 5 would all be difficulty 1 or 2 out of 5, the remach with the broken vessel would be a difficulty 4 out of 5 fight. So I recommend getting a little stronger before facing him
Hi, will update this comment while watching this episode, good day to you btw ^^ Something to know about the dream nail (not really a spoiler, maybe you figured it out this episode i haven't finished it yet) is that you can use it on most NPCs and corpses in the background (not corpses you make by killing enemies) to read their thoughts. It also works on some background elements, especially most statues that seem impressive/important will be dream nail-able. Also enemies usually have 3-4 different dream nail dialogues so check them out if that interests you :] 16:22 No wait I'm getting VERY stressed here you just got the dream nail and you're getting the habit to dream nail everything and you find marissa? no no no noo ;-; 29:38 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO when it's a boss fight it warns you "challenge the warrior dream?" if it doesn't it's just a regular ghost :(
5:00 - I know I'm still not caught up with your videos yet, but in case no one else has mentioned (and the game never does), all of the nail arts (like your Cyclone Slash) actually hit through "shields." Thins includes the giant city sentries and their shields, as well as the Stalking Devouts and their mask shields. The nail arts don't defend against attacks, so you still have to time your attack for after an enemy strikes, but at least you don't also have to worry about them blocking the attack. Extra tip, when using Cyclone Slash, if you rapidly press the attack button AFTER releasing the nail art (but while the spinning animation is still playing), you'll actually prolong its attack and get in far more damage.
The Broken Vessel is one of the three bosses you can fight Dream Version (300 Essence) not counting dlc content. Btw he's your older brother that's why he's bigger (joke) Some lore. The Palace grounds is where the *White Palace* used to be, then it just disappeared, leaving that corpse eaten by void and some guys who eventually got also eaten by the void. Your dream nail have to be *awoken* enough to enter the white corpse's dreamscape unlike the other ones, that's why you need to collect essence. Also, if you follow the correct path, you'll eventually find something about your *birthplace* . You need to go deeper into the *abyss* of this deep kingdom of Hallownest. I heard that only the *King* is allowed to know the secrets, maybe if you have the *soul of a king* you'll know everything. Maybe *Hornet* knows something about it, she is kinda related to Vessels (the Hollow knights as you say). She's kinda *edgy* though . You have the *ability* to find her now.
I’ve played this game and seeing this, all I can say is good luck 👍
Oh, it will definitely be needed, thanks! 😀
dont use the dreamnail on the friendly ghosts it permanently removes them from ur save file and its only 1 essence each😭😭
Ooops, yea I murdered them, why would that even be an option for 1 Essence anyway 😂
good fight!

Welp, I converted them into 1 Essence each, doesn't sound worth at all 😭😭

Oh, and I was wondering how to get through the annoying shields in the City of Tears; thanks!
