Welcome to my very first playthrough of Hollow Knight, completely blind! Let me tell you, I'm very excited about this one as I've heard people praising it to no end. Since we already have history with Souls-likes and Metroidvanias on the channel, I am thrilled to see this game's take on arguably my favourite genre. I'd be more than honored if you were to join me on this exciting adventure through this meticulously crafted world!

Godhome, one of the coolest parts of the game !
The two missing ones were Dung Defender and a certain Great Mind (Gorb)
The one with the head that looks like Hornet is actually Mantis Lords.
So now that you can swim in acid, you can explore Fog Canyon, there are A LOT of things there.

Godhome is the final DLC to be added to the game, it is separate from the main story, so you can do it right now or a long time later, whenever you want.

Nice job! Dung Defender’s fight is so fun, I’m glad you enjoyed it… and congrats on not getting mobbed with summons fighting Flukemarm!
About the essence: you have a small chance to get 1 essence when killing any enemy, I think it’s about 1 in 200… I think it happens more often with the flukes because you technically kill them three times.
Defender’s Crest is one of those charms that’s useful in a few very specific situations. It’s super helpful against Lost Kin! ;)
Flukenest is broken and can be used situationally to deal way more damage than should be possible… but I’ve never been able to pull it off properly. The range is quite bad and you kind of have to have a big enemy backed into a corner to see the effect. It’s fun to look into if you’re curious? Not necessarily a tip, it’s one of those ehhh charms that throws off your play style if you want to learn it… just fun fact I guess

Thanks for all of the explanations! Will try to try on some different charm combinations, but I really also want to get the attack speed upgrade as it is something right up my alley, considering playstyle 😅

If the Dung Defender fight was too easy for you, I highly recommend going back to the acid pump switch right after the boss fight and using your 'Desolate Dive' right beneath it. Who knows? You might meet someone who matches your skills a bit better... :DD
