The fact that i heard "this took me 200 hours to complete" and my instant reaction was "only?" as to be surprised by the number beeing "low", that speaks on itselfe on how hard the game is, also, imo it IS impressive that it took you that long and not more
All of the people I had talked to before playing said it was like 80 hours to complete, so coming out with 150 in-game hours (50-70 of editing to get to 200+), didn't seem super impressive. You're giving me some premium gas, though!
@@morgansbasement yeah in playstation is like 80hrs, but in playstation there is no steel soul achievement, and no speedrun achievement, as well as only 1 achievemente for either killing or banishing nkg and things like that. So only one playthrough and pantheon 5 is needed on playstation

Oh Colosseum of fools, my biggest hurdle on my way to completion so far. I spent hours stuck on trial of fools. I feel your pain, but at the same time I'm somewhat glad to see someone else struggle on it aswell lmao. With that said, time to spend hours upon hours in pantheon, but honestly it feels less frustrating to grind. Great video bruv! It's always fun to watch someone's first playthrough of HK and compare it to my own experience!

As someone who has gone through the completion process of Hollow Knight about two or three times. I couldn't help but chuckle and nod in agreement to some things said in this video. There are some extra levels of pain you could do like fighting all the bosses in the Hall of Gods at Radiant difficulty but getting 112% along with all the achievements is a big enough triumph. Good freaking job!

I'm glad you're here for this! I had the death counter in the single achievement videos, but this one was recorded over such a long time that I forgot to keep track half way through 😂. I'll keep that in mind for the next video though!
Props to you, I didn’t beat pantheon 5 till nearly 3 years after I first played. I mean, I’m sure you can tell by my pop that I love this game, and hats off to you man. (Don’t get me started on the speed run and hunters journal)
It took me over 100h to fully complete the game and defeat every boss on Radiant. It was my 3rd game to 100% achivements on Steam. Huge GZ, man! This game totally deserves to 100% it!
Fun fact, when the crystalized platforms go upside down, you can hit them again to turn them right side up instantly! (This fact saved my game multiple times)
The hollow knight is such a great boss because if you go directly to them, they’re a phenomenal challenge worthy of final boss, while if you intend to get the best ending, they’re a cakewalk on the way to the radiance.
Respect the fuck outta the grind at the end. At the start it was clear you didn't play many platformers. That absolute radiance fight was clean af. Could def tell you grinded and practiced hard. Good stuff dude.
Great job! Also, it’s kinda interesting that you refer to attacks that follow the player as “heat seeking.” I’d imagine the knight being pretty cold because he’s made of void.

I played Hollow Knight a lot, never got so far as you did. But watching this video gave me anxiety again. It was so stressful just watching you play whilst my own memories came back boss after boss. After you finally beat Radiance, I was so happy for you and felt really relieved even though I was just watching you play xD Such a strong game. Great Job beating it a 100%
I got to the Watcher Knights and after something like 20-50 attempts I gave up the game. I thought about going back, but listening to your commentary I realise that I simply don't receive any dopamine from beating hard bosses. The moments I enjoy are story beats and art design. The fighting is something I do to get to those. So I don't think I'll go back.
I think that's completely fair TBH. I always heard people talk about how the difficulty of the game was one of the best parts, but after playing through everything I can say that I was close to taking a permanent break haha. After the first 70 hours, I felt content with the game. I took a few weeks off, and when I came back the spark was there. My biggest issue was the time commitment TBH, so I can definitely see why the difficulty wouldn't give you that fulfilment considering how long it is
Just so you know, watcher knights is the hardest required boss. And before you fight it, you can get basically every upgrade available. If you do go back, getting upgraded spells, max nail, and shade cloak will trivialize the fight

Congrats and massive props to actually finishing all achivements, sure is no easy feat, even with guides. If you want to continue the challenge there are 2 more very secret areas (although they are no part of achivement/completion%): 1) unlock the land of storms (in godhome complete all pantheons with all bindings). 2) find the zotelings eternal ordeal (secret area in the ceiling of the training area in godhome) and try out your PB. I have about 250 hours on HK and even after finishing P5, it still took me many hours to get all bindings.
I've seen this secrets that you brought up, and getting them would be crazy! There are too many games I want to play, so I can't invest the time right now haha

If there's one thing I don't get tired of since I fell in love with Hollow Knight, it's watching other people going in blind and discovering it too ! Especially if they set themselves the challenge of all achievements - so this video was a pure treat =D I'm a very casual achievement hunter, and HK is definitely my pride and joy so far. =)
This is such a cool video. My favourite thing about Hollow Knight is how satisfying it is to finally defeat a boss you’ve put what feels like hundreds of attempts into. My first save file took me 70 hours and I only reached about 80% completion during that time (I kept getting lost and dying at the beginning lol) but you feel like you’ve achieved so much by the end. I can only imagine how amazing the feeling is to 112% the game and win all achievements. You’re making me want to try it out just from the look on your face at the end 😭 well done.
Bro... I got 111% completion in my first full playthrough (I only needed one more vessel fragment) and started messing around with glitches after a while since I wanted to start speedrunning the game, and ended up getting a fake bench. The screen showed the room just outside Queen's Station stag when I loaded the file, but not my character. Since I'm on PlayStation and not pc, I couldn't use the debug mod to fix it so I had to delete the file with my first completion of the game, my first clear of radiance, my first file getting past P3, and a file I put over 115 hours of grinding the game to git gud. The satisfaction of 112% was robbed from me by stupid fluffing room duping... Don't room dupe Queen's Gardens over Queen's Station stag rooms. It spawns you in thorns, and because thorns are environmental hazards, i-frames don't do fluffing anything to help you.
Great video and good job getting every success ❤ 👀 but there s still a bit of content even with every success, you can give a delicate flower to godseeker and redo P5 to get a new ending, get the golden zote statue, do 57 at eternal ordeal, get the void idols... I was also surprised about the percentage of players getting the success : on Steam, Embrace the Void is at 4.9% and here it s less than 1%

@@morgansbasement i mean, you can see that from the advancement or achievement or whatever percentages. about .5% have achieved the p5 clear. most people would only be able to clear that hellhole in like 200 hrs. maybe 100 if theyre smallant. that means 1:200 players spent 200 hrs just to clear a game. unfortunately, im not one of them. ive spent 200ish hrs, but most of it was just walking around listening to the whole ost.
when i beat poh i gave up recording cause i lost so much. i finally did it and grabbed my phone and filmed the shakiest recording of the last shots at abs rad. seeing you do it gave me that same feeling. great video on my favorite game of all time.

It took me 35 tries to beat Hornet the first times, I almost quit. When the Dreamers appeared, I realized how much bigger the story was going to be and that I loved it.
I don't know if you checked but there's an empty eggshell in the stag nest, that's why the achievement is called hope, because there's hope that other stags survived!
I actually have a full blind playthrough of Nioh 2 on another channel haha, but it would be interesting to revisit it and do the 100% to see how the whole package holds up compared to how people remember it, myself included (if you found this channel via the other channel, then welcome!)
As someone who did a no hit of every boss in the game except Markoth I can confirm he is the hardest boss in the game. (if you want to fall in love with a game and suffer at the same time in this series I cant recommend Celeste enough)
After finishing absolute radiance, you unlock the true final boss... Silksong waiting room I've been stuck on this fight for over 5 years, and I still can't figure out if I have the chance to beat it in my lifetime
if you die to a flying enemy, either you have a skill issue, or they're too far to reach still, good vid also, there's a secret animation for the godhome ending if you give the guy in junk pit a delicate flower
I got the game recently, and I really appreciate the dedication you have to the game. Just thinking about even ATTEMPTING steel heart makes me shudder and shake.
When you were finishing off your first play through you said the first of three endings, but there are five endings. The first ending is when you beat the game and seal yourself as the Hollow knight, the second ending is when you beat the Hollow knight and seal yourself, along with hornet as a seal For the black egg, the third ending is when you beat the radiance the fourth ending is when you beat Pantheon 5, The the fifth ending is when you beat pantheon five after giving the God seeker the delicate flower.
I don't really count the additional 2 since they don't happen at the original end of game location, and they don't give an achievement, so it's hard to count them in the process. But I do see why you would bring them up
Something that you didn't show, is that if you explore the stag nest, you find broken egg shells, then if you talk to the Last stag again, he'll say there's a smell in the air that gives him hope and his name changes from "last stag" to "old stag" and that's just so heartwarming

As someone who has gone through the completion process of Hollow Knight about two or three times. I couldn't help but chuckle and nod in agreement to some things said in this video. There are some extra levels of pain you could do like fighting all the bosses in the Hall of Gods at Radiant difficulty but getting 112% along with all the achievements is a big enough triumph. Good freaking job!
There seems to be universal truths in Hollow Knight. My favorite is the hatred for the primal aspids lol

The hollow knight is such a great boss because if you go directly to them, they’re a phenomenal challenge worthy of final boss, while if you intend to get the best ending, they’re a cakewalk on the way to the radiance.
Hell yes more hollow knight content, waiting for silksong has been some slow torture but seeing more people play just makes me happy.
Silksong is half life 3 of indie games and you have to live with it I guess

I played Hollow Knight a lot, never got so far as you did. But watching this video gave me anxiety again. It was so stressful just watching you play whilst my own memories came back boss after boss. After you finally beat Radiance, I was so happy for you and felt really relieved even though I was just watching you play xD

I got to the Watcher Knights and after something like 20-50 attempts I gave up the game. I thought about going back, but listening to your commentary I realise that I simply don't receive any dopamine from beating hard bosses. The moments I enjoy are story beats and art design. The fighting is something I do to get to those. So I don't think I'll go back.
I think that's completely fair TBH. I always heard people talk about how the difficulty of the game was one of the best parts, but after playing through everything I can say that I was close to taking a permanent break haha. After the first 70 hours, I felt content with the game. I took a few weeks off, and when I came back the spark was there. My biggest issue was the time commitment TBH, so I can definitely see why the difficulty wouldn't give you that fulfilment considering how long it is
Just so you know, watcher knights is the hardest required boss. And before you fight it, you can get basically every upgrade available. If you do go back, getting upgraded spells, max nail, and shade cloak will trivialize the fight

25:57 so fun fact! It's funny you mention skipping the pantheons because getting the god tuner (the item you get from the start of that dlc) counts as 1%. You didn't need to do any pantheons you could've just grabbed that item and dipped
The pantheons are safe anyway because you don't lose steel soul if you die inside a dream, except for the White Palace and Radiance.
Originally I wanted to do the speed runs, so I was going to skip the junk hep all together. By the time I reached the end I completely forgot about the tuner lol

Congrats and massive props to actually finishing all achivements, sure is no easy feat, even with guides.
If you want to continue the challenge there are 2 more very secret areas (although they are no part of achivement/completion%):
1) unlock the land of storms (in godhome complete all pantheons with all bindings).
2) find the zotelings eternal ordeal (secret area in the ceiling of the training area in godhome) and try out your PB.
I have about 250 hours on HK and even after finishing P5, it still took me many hours to get all bindings.
I've seen this secrets that you brought up, and getting them would be crazy! There are too many games I want to play, so I can't invest the time right now haha

This is such a cool video. My favourite thing about Hollow Knight is how satisfying it is to finally defeat a boss you’ve put what feels like hundreds of attempts into. My first save file took me 70 hours and I only reached about 80% completion during that time (I kept getting lost and dying at the beginning lol) but you feel like you’ve achieved so much by the end. I can only imagine how amazing the feeling is to 112% the game and win all achievements. You’re making me want to try it out just from the look on your face at the end 😭 well done.

Bro... I got 111% completion in my first full playthrough (I only needed one more vessel fragment) and started messing around with glitches after a while since I wanted to start speedrunning the game, and ended up getting a fake bench. The screen showed the room just outside Queen's Station stag when I loaded the file, but not my character. Since I'm on PlayStation and not pc, I couldn't use the debug mod to fix it so I had to delete the file with my first completion of the game, my first clear of radiance, my first file getting past P3, and a file I put over 115 hours of grinding the game to git gud. The satisfaction of 112% was robbed from me by stupid fluffing room duping... Don't room dupe Queen's Gardens over Queen's Station stag rooms. It spawns you in thorns, and because thorns are environmental hazards, i-frames don't do fluffing anything to help you.

@@morgansbasement i mean, you can see that from the advancement or achievement or whatever percentages. about .5% have achieved the p5 clear. most people would only be able to clear that hellhole in like 200 hrs. maybe 100 if theyre smallant. that means 1:200 players spent 200 hrs just to clear a game. unfortunately, im not one of them. ive spent 200ish hrs, but most of it was just walking around listening to the whole ost.

It took me 35 tries to beat Hornet the first times, I almost quit. When the Dreamers appeared, I realized how much bigger the story was going to be and that I loved it.
That story expansion was my favorite part of the game
I don't know if you checked but there's an empty eggshell in the stag nest, that's why the achievement is called hope, because there's hope that other stags survived!

As someone who did a no hit of every boss in the game except Markoth I can confirm he is the hardest boss in the game. (if you want to fall in love with a game and suffer at the same time in this series I cant recommend Celeste enough)

When you were finishing off your first play through you said the first of three endings, but there are five endings. The first ending is when you beat the game and seal yourself as the Hollow knight, the second ending is when you beat the Hollow knight and seal yourself, along with hornet as a seal For the black egg, the third ending is when you beat the radiance the fourth ending is when you beat Pantheon 5, The the fifth ending is when you beat pantheon five after giving the God seeker the delicate flower.
I don't really count the additional 2 since they don't happen at the original end of game location, and they don't give an achievement, so it's hard to count them in the process. But I do see why you would bring them up
Something that you didn't show, is that if you explore the stag nest, you find broken egg shells, then if you talk to the Last stag again, he'll say there's a smell in the air that gives him hope and his name changes from "last stag" to "old stag" and that's just so heartwarming
