Zote was never powerful in the first place but he has influencing skills, his biggest fan will make a statue of him in their basement. The room before the Brooding Mawlek was filled with dead bodies of Mawleks, he was the last of his species who lived in Crossroads (the others are in Basin) he became aggressive because all his friends are dead. There's another Brooding Mawlek but he's in the Colosseum of Fools somehow. I let you discover. Also, the Infection of the Broken Vessel spread in the Crossroads after you killed him. Also, there's something really important in Fog Canyon, try exploring there or you can go to basin first.
Yeah, only on rewatching the footage I noticed the other Mawleks around in the area, poor guy 😭 It's absolutely insane how much to explore there is in the game, will try to go to those place in the next episode, but I also want to become the chamion of the arena 😋 So much to do!

In the Colosseum, if you let Zote run into you with his little nail, it doesn’t even do damage… like it says in the Hunter’s Journal, it’s just made of wood… hahaha. - Sorry about how loud the weirdo behind the Colosseum was! Her scream doesn’t scale with the game audio for some reason, so it’s always way louder haha - Speaking of her, her health meter doesn’t reset like you thought. Even if she burrows underground, she’s still wounded, she’s just tanky. - Forgotten Crossroads became Infected when you got Monarch Wings (there are a couple other triggers too… they just want you to have significant game progress) - If nobody’s said it, your platforming in the long room before Nailmaster Sheo was awesome! I’ve seen so many people die multiple times there. Props - Elder Hu’s storyline is that he came to the mantis tribe to protect them from the infection, but instead he got infected himself. It drove him to madness, and he attacked the mantises thinking they were infected. They killed him and erected a monument… it took him a while to figure out what actually happened. Thanks for all of the tips, explanations and kind words! Good to know about that weird boss next to the Colosseum, now I feel we have an actual fighting chance, I was afraid of it having some weird gimmick 😋

Also Nice job discovering the Colosseum of Fools :D I'll be editing the comment while I watch :/ For the Colosseum of Fools, you can re-take the trials to recieve the reward in geo as much as you want, though you won't get the item prize again.
Again my guy gotta start using spells, makes colloseum much quicker and more exciting. The Vengeful spirit helps against Asphids and dive makes the Baldur sections very easy, if you are worried about entertainment, using more moves and balancing them with healing makes it much more exciting. Edit: Now that you have shaman stone spells will do even more damage it is one of the best charms in the game try to equip it if you are struggling with a boss
