44:48 - Basically, if Harbinger is killed, another collector can be turned into Harbinger. So the best way to deal with Harbinger is leave him last to be killed so other collectors are not turned into Harbinger.
Hey Dyliard! The two novels you read about in the Codex, Revelation and Ascension, they are both real novels in real life that help fill in the lore for the trilogy. The writer of the books is the same main writer of ME1 and ME2.
Btw, in relation to Vorcha, during combat you can see if you take too long to shoot and kill them, their health can quickly regenerate. However, they are generally paperweight to defeat.
Some of the upgrades like the collector armor, where available in the original version of the game, provided you bought the DLC, you wouldn't need to research it, you would have it automatically. In the legendary edition you need to research the DLC upgrades.
Glad to see you keeping up to date with the lore 😁 Not sure how you feel about mods, but if there is one mod to get I would recommend the One Probe All Resources mod as it will save you hours of launching probes when planet scanning. If you want the vanilla, developer intended experience, that is no problem with me
Yes, planet scanning can become quite tedious and time consuming. This One Probe mod (available on Nexus Mods) is definitely worth considering if/when you get tired of launching probe after probe on every planet just to get your minerals/ressources so you can afford upgrades. It's quite easy to install and doesn't interfere with anything else in the game (story, immersion etc.). And btw.: I can't believe that nobody else has mentioned it in the comments so far... F*** the council! 😉🤣
as someone who beat the trilogy over 10 times in console before getting the pc copy I definitely understand the pain of scanning and why one of the first mods I downloaded was the probing mod
Hey guys, thanks for the recommendation! I usually try to play vanilla and I'm not annoyed by it yet, but will consider the mod if the scanning gets to me 😁
1:29:18 "Amygdalae" is plural of "amygdala", the part of the human mid-brain (limbic system) that deals with strong emotions: fear, anger, hate (negative) and protectiveness, lust (positive). The name is Greek for "almond", because it's shaped a bit like an almond. In English we pronounce "amygdala" as ah-MIG-duh-lah, and "amygdalae" as ah-MIG-duh-lay, which from what I understand isn't *too* far off from the Greek pronunciation. Regarding heavy weapons, the two most practical ones to carry are the ML-77 Missile Launcher and the Collector Particle Beam. Some of the others have fun novelty value or are good for specific missions, but those two will almost never steer you wrong. Also, Kasumi's personal mission will unlock the best SMG in the game. It's an SMG which is accurate at long distances, which is incredible.
Oh, then I was completely mixing things up, was under the impression the Illusive Man is indeed Miranda's father. Have no idea how I arrived at that conclusion to be fair haha

Ayy that's actually a good strat, thanks!

Oh, that's cool, didn't even think about that possibility. Are they any good? have you read them?
you know a game is good when you get excited about reading the codex!
The lore is stellar, what can I say :D
I dunno if you caught it before, but there is an explanation on why this game has ammo and clips.
As in the codex? I have not caught that 🤔
Btw, in relation to Vorcha, during combat you can see if you take too long to shoot and kill them, their health can quickly regenerate. However, they are generally paperweight to defeat.
Yes, yes, I remember it happening during our quarantine zone adventures 😃

Was not aware some of those are DLC 🤔
2:11:51 in ME1 you bought licences for different manufacturers including Elcoss Combine.
I remember the licenses vividly, but not Elkoss Combine, what a weird name haha
Glad to see you keeping up to date with the lore 😁

Yeah I'd highly recommend that mod, scanning for resources is so tedious. Unless you really like moving your mouse around looking for platinum.

Thanks for all of the clarifications, good to see you back! 😁
good to see some codex!
😼
Maybe I misunderstood you but the Illusive Man is not Mirandas father, she escaped her father when she was old enough and fled to Cerberus.
Too be fair that info about Miranda was given several months ago at this point lol and has since been overshadowed by more impotant information
Oh, then I was completely mixing things up, was under the impression the Illusive Man is indeed Miranda's father. Have no idea how I arrived at that conclusion to be fair haha
@DyliardGamingSilly goose
Just remmeber, some entries could update themselves in the future.
Really? Now we have to keep track of what new is written in the already-existing entries? That's evil 😱
In the upgrades - 1/5 = 10 percent 2/5 = 20 percent 5/5 = 50 percent.
Makes sense!
I am pretty sure Negotiation Bonus is paragon or renegade.
Also pronounce Harbinger with a hard G.
Got it, what a wacky word, never saw it prior 😅
It is a soft G. It is pronounced multiple times in the game like this.
