- Mass Effect 1 LE Playlist: • Let's Play Mass Effect...
Welcome to my very first playthrough of Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition, completely blind! After the thrilling finale of Mass Effect 1, I could not contain myself from starting the sequel right away. I am definitely excited as the very first game has already made me a fan of the series, and, what's more, I heard rumors of ME2 being the best one in the trilogy! As I mentioned countless times during our ME1 playthrough, I was mighty impressed with this amazing world BioWare had created, and I cannot wait to see and explore more of it. Disclaimer: I'm a lore fiend, so you will have to excuse my sitting in the codex for hours on end 🤣 I'd be honored if you were to join me on this action-packed journey through the galaxy!
From the EA website:
Are you prepared to lose everything to save the galaxy? You'll need to be, Commander Shepard. It's time to bring together your greatest allies and recruit the galaxy's fighting elite to continue the resistance against the invading Reapers. So steel yourself, because this is an astronomical mission where sacrifices must be made. You'll face tougher choices and new, deadlier enemies. Arm yourself and prepare for an unforgettable intergalactic adventure.
1:18:18 - yep you have to feed your finish every mission. even side missions.
That's outrageous, I need a more persevering pet, a cactus or something like that 😂
The paragon interrupt was to hit Archer with a gun btw
So so so surprised Archer walks scot free in all scenarios! Outrageous!
@DyliardGaming I play mostly paragon but I wish we could have shot him. Easily one of the most hated characters in the franchise.
@DyliardGaming I don't support archer. But killing him would damage your relations with Cerberus. You need Cerberus even if you disagree with them because they are working against the Collector threat unlike the others. (At least they are doing a lot compared to others).
@polandepic9807 That's a good point I have to reluctantly agree with!
@DyliardGaming Also another point. David is aware of the situation. Killing archer would traumatise David even more.
RIP Fishies 🐟😉
We did not get to enjoy them at all 😭
Nice job noticing the lack of face paint on Kuril because it is intentional. It does mention in the codex (maybe the secondary one?) about the significance of face paints
I absolutely remember that, do wonder why this one doesn't have them, maybe he distances himself from his planet/community 🤔
awesome episode
Thanks! 🤩
Oh yeah, if a mission in the journal has N7 - it means it is a side mission. Side missions are called N7 missions
Good to know, now I will be able to tell the DLCs apart, thanks!
Yah when I saw you name the last episode “project overlord is fun!” I was like ha little does he know
I was not aware in the slightest, ME1 did not prepare me for this, this DLC had borderline horror elements 😱
13:44 - yep it is not possible to enter this room.
Glad we did not miss anything 😄
1:10:07
I mean they never did come in to space on their own
Now that you say that, you are totally right, I drew blanks on the Rachni wars! Nevertheless, it was bizarre seeing Dr. Okeer, a krogan, doing science stuff in that Dossier mission 😅
4:50 - In relation to the XP. In the overlord you get 250 for 3 of the different tasks. Main story missions = 1000 XP I believe. Side missions = 100 something XP. And also 40 XP = for side mission.
Do you get any xp for killing enemies in ME? Now I'm curious! 😅
@ You don't.
If there is a Sidequest on a planet, EDI will alert you as soon as you begin scanning. You don't have to keep randomly scanning to find them.
That's a great QOL feature, thanks for letting me know 😁
1:06:39 - Zaeed and Kasumi don't have upgrades. For example Grunt has an upgrade that gives him a Krogan Shotgun (which is only for Grunt no one else) Mordin has an omni tool upgrade (more damage from his tech abilities).
Huh, Mordin and Grunt not necessarily working for the betterment of Normandy, I see!
Ha ha, you re not a real Shepard until you have killed a tank of fish! You can get more at the Citadel and other places you will unlock so not a major disaster.
Absolutely devastating, now I'm glad we never bought that one space hamster...
@DyliardGaming Actually the hamster doesn't need feeding and is worth getting just for a few lines of comical dialogue in a ME3 dlc. Also don't forget the supplies for the Normandy cook for some easy XP.
