- Here we go! Our first foray into 36mm watches, and oh-boy, it's a sure fire winner! Just wait till you lay eyes on the ice blue dial of the Islander Manhasset - or the intriguing Rose Gold dial. 4 to choose from, all are 36mm in diameter, sapphire crystals and just a 43mm on the lug to lug dimension. Oh, did I mention female endlink bracelets?

I really like the written-out "Islander" on the dial together with your unique logo, much better than the logo by itself. It reinforces what I've always thought about your logo, that it looks like a compass needle pointing to Long Island in the southeastern part of New York State!
YES I have been waiting for an explorer style Islander. Awesome, definitely getting one. The 36mm size is so perfect too. The bracelet too, you nailed it all.

I love it. Especially the black and salmon. But man oh man I wish you used a Miyota 9000 to make it a little thinner. 12 is not bad but on a 36mm watch it kind of accentuates it. Its probably not going to stop me from buying one but still thats kind of the main thing I look for in a watch. PS Ryan did knock it out of the park with the colors, especially the salmon (RG). He deserves a raise.

So I've had my black dial version 5 days now. It wears really comfortable, great sizing at 36mm, the dial is massively legible, it's def takes references from the Rolex, yet it is distinctive enough to be its own thing. Accurate to 3/4 seconds per day. Great lume......
I've not taking it off!!! I have many watches none have been daily's I used to swap every day. This is I think my first "daily"
Just bought the Black (4th Islander, 2nd with Ryan I think) brilliant... I can't afford the watch this has taken inspiration from. Ryan and you have nailed it....again it that you've respected the inspiration but made it an Islander Watch!!! BTW, keep the written "Islander" on the dial. It looks classy...
Outstanding! 36mm is too small for me, but I am happy for those wanting a smaller watch. As I type this, I have the 43mm ISL-149 “Pogue” on my wrist. It has been my daily since I received it at the beginning of August and I cannot get enough of this beauty (my original 6139 now stays in the watch box for special occasions 😊). The finishing is immaculate, +4 seconds per day, from diver to field to dress watch seamlessly while on holiday… and the lume is insane! it still shines brightly at 6am, charged from only electric lighting while being worn in the classroom. Why buy any other brand? Cheers, LIW! 🎉
Have the ISL Pogue as well. Wish it had the Miyota highbeat though

This watch it’s astonishingly great! For less than $300 it’s hitting many of the same marks as my Black Bay 36. The bracelet is great quality with just the smallest bit of rattle. The dial well balanced and easy to read. The lume is top notch and lasts about an hour. Mine is running about 8 seconds slow. The rotor makes the slightest sound when it spins. Overall this watch is punches well above its price point!
The smoother Robins egg blue highbeat at 38mm takes the cake, ImhO

My ice blue Manhasset arrived yesterday. It's a great looking watch that wears very well and is light. Tried to leave a review on the LIW site but unfortunately unable at this time. Another home run from Marc.
Everytime I think I have found my next Islander you come out with something cooler. What to do, as I can't buy them all? Any watch designed by Ryan is a home run. Ryan don't forget the puppy treats for saying that. Woof! 🐶🐕🤣

Love these Rolex homages!! Only gripe is lug to lug could be 46mm and easily fit small wrists without looking like a ladies watch on medium to large wrists. Logo is looking way better, especially applied. Great work on these, small wrist fans and ladies should love them.

Yes! This is a line of watches that peaks my interest, and makes me excited to see what other dial combinations will be used in the future. Now my hopes are up now for a 36mm diver that isn't as brutal as my Marathon MSAR.

My 6.25 inch wrist loves 36mm to 38mm watches and that Ice blue is divine. I can’t decide whether to get the ice blue or Robyn’s egg when it comes back again. I will however get one of those. I’m really digging all of these. Will the bracelets be available separately so we can change up the look? Have you considered doing a limited run with an SW200 and a gloss black dial and a more vintage darker salmon dial?
I have been so happy with my ISL-02, I have been wanting another Islander. I love this design so much, but it is a smidge too small for my wrists - which are nearly nine inches around. If this were 41mm, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Hope to see this watch scaled up to a bigger form factor in the future!

Nice work. My 8" plus however, sort of limits me to only certain options.
*Not so long ago, 8” wrists and 36mm men’s watches were a common mix.* *_What you’ll discover is the “O” style bracelet and case lugs of this model, on a 12mm thick watchcase, create a wrist presence of greater appearance than a typical 34, 35 or 36mm dress watch of 9-10mm thickness on a leather strap. The lighter dials, especially the cream, also make the watch wear bigger than the measurements suggest. After only a day or two on the wrist, it will feel balanced and well sized._*

Black or white print on the dials would look very clean.
No decoration on the rotor? Even Invicta decorates the NH35. A little laser engraving or a pad print would go a long way in a display back. I do love the drilled lugs, the bracelets look "A-1", and the dials look great. I'll probably opt for the black one, since I won't be buying a Rolex any time soon and my tastes are a bit old school. Keep up the great work, the vids are always informative and fun. Thnx. TMG
The ice blue is spectacular. The color choices are genius. I am so tempted but 36 is just too small on my wrist. Consider making a 39 mm version and it would be nice to get a Miyota movement and thinner profile
