Sad to say for sure definitely ripping people off, big box hackers. Been around and in the trade for many many years , I see companies daily ripping people off. Plus if ya get into a rental situation of equipment they put a lean against ya house without telling ya. All true what ya said about them. Glad they got you doing the work, true professional. Thanks you for your outstanding work.
No one to blame but the customers themselves. Everybody wants immediate service and is unwilling to wait even a few hours. Plus no one works off word of mouth, everything is google, whichever company shoes up first. No loyalty.
Nice step by step on checking a system. I appreciate your expertise.
Thanks for the view. Hope it helped.
I am a senior citizen and it is disgusting how our country have become nothing by " Thieves and liars ". People would throw their grandmother under the bus if they could make a dollar doing it.
Good job Charles txv jobs to me should not cost more than 1500 dollars including adding any refrigerent and vacuaming out the line set too. Hope you get it Charles and get a service contract from them and then quote them to fix that crappy drain pipe issue.
Screw them large companies and that's the problem nowadays it's hard to find old school mom and pipe buisneses for hvac or even plumbing. Don't these big corporate guys get that you make more money off of service contracts and maintaining systems VS just wanting to sell new systems all the time. And fancy gadgets like air purifyers heck they could make money too off of duct cleaning services too.
Remember new systems and installs take a lot more time if done right VS only doing what's necasarry.
Ohh and Charles no oem txv use a good aftermarket one but 10 years out of the original is not bad for a txv.
Funny thing is these big companies practically brainwash their employees to. Have a friend and former coworker that went to work for the big company in our area. The 1st week it was "man idk if I should have left, they really push sales here", to barely a year later arguing that having a monthly quota he needs to meet doesn't promote dishonesty.
A place here actually sells used equipment once a year in some sort of scratch and dent sale. At least this is what I'm told by my customers.
Yep...more than 50% of HVAC are scammers. Licensed contractor and all ! Sad. We need some HVAC police to get rid of those types.
I wonder if one of those handheld infrared temperature guns could give you an accurate reading for the evaporator coil. If it would, those would be a great asset to have for various needs.
They likely have the filter located in the return register grille which I think is best.
Good call. Had a thermal imager in my bag and didn't even think about grabbing it.
Is it your opinion that a 7 degree difference across the dryer is not restricted? Most of the common instructors that we all know say anything more than 1-2 degrees is a concern.
@@genesun71 I didn't look at the screen, but he says 70 on one side and 77 on the other.
Update: I just went back and you are right. If you only listen to the audio though, at 23:05 he says "70.....70 degrees over there" when it was actually reading 77.2 .
This had zero 77 each side. I don’t like more than 2 Prefer 1 or 0.
Terrible 😞
Revoke there license
Lol! Can't
