📲 Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉 I’m sure we couldn’t cover all the possible common plant care mistakes and tips in this video, so if you have any great tips of your own to share, we’d love to hear about them 🌿👇🪴
New plant parent here. My tip is not repoting plants right after getting them home. Put them in different places in your home to know where they like best and let them adapt to new environment. Good luck to those who are getting into plants 🌻❤️
I also suggest you to Plz keep a betel leaf plant. The one which has a very pleasant fragrance as well as very beautiful look which is gonna make you happy. But it needs moist soil and its leaves are edibles.
One of the things you can't unsee once you've seen it is there's something green and leafy in almost every single frame of PUL's videos, whether it's background, foreground, houseplants, nature, or in the recipes themselves. It helps make this channel such an alive, calm, welcoming space.
Your channel is like soul-spa, sadia. Thank you for making these videos. No amount of appreciation is enough for the quality and meaning you pour in your videos!💗
The reason to be on RUclips ‼️❤️‼️ Sadia, I hope you get all that you seek and wish you never have a moment of doubt in your journey. Such a wonderful energy you bring to the world. 💫
I initially came to your channel by recommendation of Evelyn from the Internet because I'm vegan curious. I stayed for the plants. I started my plant parent journey from seeing your propagation video awhile back. Please know that if you're ever in doubt, you are providing something glorious in this corner on the interwebs! I'm forever a subscriber.
I heard the Midnight Library just two months ago! I always wondered what kind of books you listen to on Audible! Loving the plant care videos! A very very new plant mom here. Hopefully all my plants grow and thrive! Lots of love.
I just finished The Midnight Library a few weeks ago! It was a fascinating and warming reading. Also, I bought my first pothos and it's been sitting in my room for two weeks. I'll be coming back here often :) thank you so much ❤
I started my journey with plants after seeing your propagation plant video and now I have more than 200 plants...❤️ I love my plants a lot as you do... Was very eagerly waiting for your video...😊
Some great tips! I've definitely made more than one of those mistakes inn the past🙈 One tip i wanted to add is when re-potting a plant make sure you only use peat-free compost. Here in the UK if it doesn't specifically say 'peat-free" on the packaging then it contains peat! We need to do all we can to protect this precious resource as it is wonderful at capturing carbon!
Thank you for the helpful tips. So grateful you also talk about the times it went wrong and you were overloving your plants and killing them. That happened to me and it bugged me to the level I threw out my old and dying plants and lived years without them. Until someone gave us a pancakeplant that started propagating. I have started buying plants again and with your tips for propagating and caring I'm hopeful things go right this time. And if one dies, I know now that it happens to the best of us because of your honesty. Thank you/dankjewel.
Oh absolutely! It's sad when a plant dies for sure, but I feel like you learn from it every time. We do our best and give them love, and hope they stay with us as long as possible 🪴
I really love your content. You seem to be a nice person, the vibes that you send in your videos are so good !! Thank you, I really appreciate your calm, your good mood and the way you speak to your audience.
Love,love,love.... lol I have to sneak in plants into my home without my husband knowing about it....I find plants just light up a space so well...thank you for sharing. love from Canada xxx
Even if a spider plant looks 90% dead, all brown and drooped, it can come right back to life green and beautiful with some extra sunlight and a good thorough watering. I think it's the easiest houseplant.
Yes! I saved one last summer and I felt like A Plant Hero, even though I literally just cut off the dead leaves and gave it some extra light and water.
Diya is such a fun person to hangout with.. quite evident from the energy in her videos :) love her to the core. 3y+ of being her fan and there's always new content in every video !! just love her.. that's all
Not to overwater is the golden but hard rule for all plant lovers😁 I learnt it the hard way too! Thank you so much for your plant tips - they are soo good! Hope for more videos like this in future :)
A tip I received recently: as a general rule (but not 100% off the time) the lighter the leaf colour, the more light the plant needs. I found this info helpful so thought others might too ❤
just wanted to say you are truly awesome! you always make me smile and realize its okay to be silly and be yourself as you should be!! so BIG BIG THANK YOU !!! Hope all is well with Robin and Family Much love From NYC!!!
Hey what a coincidence!. Currently I'm totally in love with House plants.. watching lot of content on this subject and also watched your 2 previous videos on plants many times.. and Now got notified on this topic from my favorite channel/person.. Woooowww.
I needed this video so badly. I LOVE plants, but am a total newb and can use all the help I can get. Thank you for this and such a beautiful video as always! You are a treasure, Sadia.
One of my new plants is going through the too much or too little water stage so this video came just at the right time. I will leave it alone for a week given the finger test you mentioned Sadia - thanks!
Hey! your whole setup is so aesthetically pleasing and calm. Your voice and presence just make it a perfect soothing plant video to watch. Also, your planters are pretty. :)
Hello Sadia, thank you so much for sharing these tips about plants and well living. I learned a lot and also really enjoyed your peaceful voice and mindset !
Sadia thank you so much, your videos inspired me to grow my own plants, these tips utterly helping to prevent plants from bad conditions Thank you, always pleasure to warch your videos and get passionate about everything you do for us❤
No joke, yesterday I decided I want some plants in my room and started to inform myself a little about the benefits you get from them and how to take care of them and now you uploaded this video like... perfect timing haha! I will definetely listen to your tips so thank you for sharing!!
My sister introduced me to a watering gauge that has 2 probes on it. You can set it to measure the amount of moisture in the soil or the amount of light it receives where I've placed it. It has been super useful to me.
Oh my god, this is so recognizable! It's like you're telling me about my own process of learning about plants. 😂🙈 Listening to this shows me that I've learned a lot along the way. Whenever I welcome a new plant into my home, I search for care tips online and I write them down in this wonderful app I've got: Plant Care Reminder 🌱. You can set all kinds of things, like watering, food, when to spray them and you can add your own notes (and even make a back-up in the cloud ☁️). Great video again, fellow plant lover! 😉🪴💚
Hi!! I love everything about Pick up limes...the tips, the plants, the recipes, the shower... and I am in love with the sink and the kitchen counter they look prestine🙃 The background with the all the hanging leaves looks beyond beatiful. Thank you so much for everything!!!🙂🌻🌼🌷🌿🍇🍉☕
The Midnight Library won the Goodreads award for the best fiction 2020. I also enjoyed that book :) Thanks for the great video. I am a novice plant father so I learned a lot!
Thank you for these tips. I definitely have done something wrong since the only indoor plant I have has yellow patches on the leaf, which you said from over-fertilizing it. I need to correct that and also to report properly.
Thanks for the very useful tips… Also, that water you use to clean the dust from the leaves, the excess of water that comes to the tray after the plant drains it, etc, could be used to water other plants, or you just throw it to the lawns or the garden so all that water does not get wasted. You can do that even when you do not a very cold winter in your area. Let’s take care of the precious water…
Hello Pick up Limes... I really enjoy watching your videos especially on plants. It's so refreshing to my mood and treat to eyes. Please keep uploading more videos on the same, would really like get creative ideas from u. All the best and lots of love
This video is so helpful! I have recently added some herbs to my indoor garden, I would love to hear any tips on caring for herbs indoors, like when to harvest or how to store the fresh herbs once picked. Thanks!!
Two things i’ve learned over time : 1. Water in the dish not on the top of the pot. 2. Leave the water in the dish for only 15minutes max. What is absorbed is the plant. More than that is just the earth drawing moisture in. Hope it helps ;), thanks! Dana
@Sean F if you’re doing that, avoiding the center with every watering, you will risk the roots in the center drying out and the sides getting too wet. So long as your pot has drainage, you can thoroughly water without risk. Imagine what happens when the plant is getting rained on in the tropical rain forest. When it rains, if pours. Letting the soil then dry out and making sure your plant receives enough light, you really shouldn’t worry about it rotting from the inside.
I started planting vegetables and herbs in my terrace last year, but I failed to keep them alive 🙄 But I am going to start again because of this video 😁 Love u so much 💞😉
Hi Sadia ... I am Sneha here ...missed you and your video so much thanks for bringing something special .... This was such a useful video even I have thought to grow some of plants near here hopefully I got some inspiration as well as knowledge to do it

Nope. You're not the only 1.

Great tipps! And I love the watering can!☺️👍🏼
Thank you ! Just became a plant 🪴 dad yesterday.

Just finished The Midnight Library too, it's indeed great : mixes philosophy, quantum physics and psychology wisdoms all in one easy to follow story.
I started planting vegetables and herbs in my terrace last year, but I failed to keep them alive 🙄
But I am going to start again because of this video 😁
Love u so much 💞😉

This was such a useful video even I have thought to grow some of plants near here hopefully I got some inspiration as well as knowledge to do it
I already knew most of it but I just love listening to your voice and watching you videos :)
Great tips! The one item I absolutely love is my moisture meter... For under $15, you can guarantee you're not going to water unnecessarily.
I LIVE for your plant videos 🥺 thank you for blessing my day with this 🖤
Please upload on regular basis, after seeing it makes me happy.
I read "The Midnight Library" in three sittings :) I loved it! I belong to two book clubs and they both selected "The Midnight Library" as their April/May book.
Weekend plans!! Plant care ❤️ Sadia thank you! These tips are so good
Thanks so much, Gloria 🤗
Thank you for the great video, i am a plant lover myself and recently got some new ones 🪴
my tip on this: if you have plants, that appreceate high humidity purchase a humifier or a simple plant mister keeps the leaves and plants happy ( especially for prayer plants and tropical plants in general NOT succulens🌵)
Also if you tend to overwater your plants or are not sure about its water requierments try bottom watering
just place your plant in a bowl or plate with some water and let it sit for 20 min
the plant takes what it needs
Just remove it and there you go 🪴
Hope this was helpful!
Lots of love to the pul team ❤️🪴🌵
Always enjoy your out takes! You’re so relatable.
your video production quality is awesome. i come here for the frames, lighting, camera moves, blocking, timing, edits, b-roll footage and audio.! you make it look so easy... trust me folks, it is not.
Please share more plant care videos. I get zero sunlight in my living room and have a 3-4 plants somehow surviving but something on low light areas
