Stop Making Things Realistic! [Minecraft Movie Teaser Reaction + Analysis]

- Entertainment, in former years, believe that if it's visually realistic; it's profitable. This is completely false when given the identity of Disney Cartoon's and other films that have tried this approach such as Jumanji or Roger Rabit. I believe this movie will not be as visually impressive as it could be. How to fix this? Simple. STOP MAKING IT REALISTIC! If this world is suppose to be a dimension, let it fall under the categories of a different visual setting.
Does this mean the Minecraft movie will be horrible? No, I think it will succeed as a child-friendly movie, but I do not think it will be profitable. The story, in my opinion, is going to be very similar to other varients of this genre. Which is disappointing giving that it may have the potential to make a great narrative of accepting reality and learning when to hop in between and out of worlds.

The one thing I have an issue with when it comes to the Minecraft movie, in my opinion, is overall the realistic look of the mobs. I would agree that the mobs should look more cartoonish, just to make it more kid-friendly, because I feel like the realistic look of the mobs, such as the piglins, for example, might scare some kids or just make them uncomfortable in general
I mean it could've had potential, they did great with the landscape but having real life characters in an animated world is just not a good idea
I like the look of the world I really do, but the realistic animals and mobs are a bit off putting, and having a bit of a jumanji/narnia/going to another world plot has been done thousands of times already, and I feel there could have been more plots they could have gone with. Also the live action aspect while, interesting it would have been better if the movie characters got blocky to match the world they're in, like you said a more cartoony visual might be better
I feel like this will have up and down reaction to it. I will say the animation looks like how everyone on youtube was trying to make “ in real life “ minecraft videos. I think just with the two kids as the main characters with jack black would probably be better but who knows. I told my one group of friends it this had Og mine craft youtubers like there was a plan when it was talked about the first Minecraft movie this probably be more of a hype to it . I know this will be more for kids * and I swear if they make a Roblox movie after this I’m rage quitting 😂😂jk* and then have a bunch of merchandise come after the movie .as much as I’m happy we finally got a Minecraft movies I’m kind of scared for it to be bad but I will be going to see it when it comes out ✨
To me this has the heart, the passion is there, but the current outcome is not really selling it, this movie could really take a que from the Mario movie as a way to make a better to succeed movie, stepping away from the live action aspect and sticking to cartoonish animation

I wish this movie was animated instead of real life though.
