Can't make the sun focus on a small area, solar IS extremely diluted power that needs enormous amounts of area, which is also one of the reasons it will never be competitive or cheap without government subsidies.
I refueled my car at the Shell station, on August 25, 2020, through the ShellBox application. The supply amount was R$ 185.75, but as I used the code GANHE15, I got a discount of 0.15 per liter, totaling a total of R$ 6.33 discount, so there was a charge of R$ 179.42 in my credit card, however, the post made a second charge on my ELO credit card, totally undue and unauthorized, in the amount of R$ 7.24. I don't know how they were able to make this unauthorized debt, but it is a flagrant violation of the consumer's right, in addition to a huge misleading advertisement, since they give a discount and then charge a higher amount than the discount, without the consumer's authorization. I request the immediate reimbursement of the amount charged.
This is shameful for Shell. If anything Shell would be wise to invest into super clean super safe GenIV nuclear power. Solar is a waste of money and the Shell management probably knows this. No talk of the storage or the backup power plants needed for solar here, why? Shell has the resources to produce next generation super cheap and super safe and super clean energy, why is Shell not doing it?
The future is here. Bring it home Shell!
Interested in a smaller foot print, neighborhood size. Waiting for you.
