In most cases for career military people, it is arthritis even before 40. The activity level of the joint over years is not determined by age. It's due to use and abuse

Hi NIgirl, We are so excited to hear that our information has helped heal your knee problems!🧡
It's terrible to hear that you have been suffering from Trendelenburg Gait. We know the challenges it can present. While we don't have a specific video on this topic yet, we do have a variety of exercises and resources that can help address muscle imbalances and stability issues, which are often associated with the Trendelenburg gait.
To target the root cause of the wobbly walk, strengthening the glutes and hip muscles is very important. We've attached 2 videos that can aid in addressing muscle imbalances and improving hip stability. The video addresses knee pain the info still applies to your situation. You can check it out here:
“Top 5 Glute Muscle Exercises For Knee Pain”
      ruclips.net/video/NXdCjT2QtJA/видео.html
“Top 6 Standing Glute Exercises To Help Knee Pain”
      ruclips.net/video/jD7IRBfJ-mM/видео.html
We also have a playlist with walking advice that can provide additional tips and exercises to enhance your gait and overall hip function. You can view it here: "Walking Advice For Painful Knees, Hips, And Ankles"
      ruclips.net/p/PLJVIPiFvv1mZqQdy7MnE2Q1H_Xfgxi5zH
While we don't have a dedicated video on the Trendelenburg gait at the moment, we hope these resources will be helpful in supporting your hip health and stability.
As always, it's essential to listen to your body and consult with a healthcare professional or physical therapist if you have specific concerns or if you'd like a personalized exercise plan.
We wish you all the best in your road to recovery!🧡

I have a question, how did my hips become tight, when I was active and very flexible, still doing the splits, up to 3 years ago, when I was 67? I was told to use a cane, due to my slight limp, but then I needed a walker to get in and out of the shower. I've tried all the exercises on RUclips, none work. I loved swimming, the pool at the physios, was not safe, getting in and out😢. I use my arm crutches, as I feel they give me a good workout. I walk more, with my walker, around my garden, which helps. I would love to be able, to just use a cane. Can you help me. I don't want to go under the knife. I have no hip pain, but get stiff legs, after sitting, and painful knees, and thighs.

Hello Dr, I hv a question(s).. I'm baffled.. I was feeling perfect again after seeing my chiro, after the 1st week, when all this flared up 3months ago. The day I walked in WI NO MORE PAIN, she cracked my back in the end, and I immediately felt the pain, very mildl sharp pain again, in my hip come back! It progressively got worse, and eventually I was back to square one.. I cldnt walk! She encouraged me to come back in after I skipped the whole nxt wk, and when I did, IT GOT 80PERC BETTER! The nxt visit was then even better by 50perc! I know the math isn't quite right, lol, but hey, it's the best I can do! So then, after ANOTHER adjustment, it got worse AGAIN! She explained all this, and I agree, that it CLD GET WORSE B4 BETTER, BUT to the degree you're back at square one? I went for a shot just in the glute, and I was back to almost 100per for ab 3weeks! Went to see her again AND IT GOT WORSE AGAIN, evn tho the shot may hv bn time to wear off? So I went to get a shot IN THE BURSA (XRAYS, CT), it's bn a wk n a half, AN WHOA, IT'S PRETTY BAD STILL, wi the exception of some good times where I think the shot has finally kicked in BUT GETS WORSE AGAIN!! Some days I can do ur exercises, an some day I CAN'T AT ALL!! WILL THIS EVER GO AWAY??? IS THIS ROLLERCOASTER PERMANENT???

And I'm 53, btw, wi "arthritis" (they say) in the x-rays wi "scaloping"? And I defly do knowing hv stage 3 in my neck, so I don't doubt I hv it in my hip and elsewhere, BUT NONE OF IT EVER BOTHERS ME!!! I EVEN GOT RID OF MIGRANES THAT STARTED SHOWING UP BY WORKN OUT SOME KNOTS THAT WERE CAUSING THEM, NOT THE ARTHRITIS!!!

..and another problem that the Dr's of MEDICINE tell me is "that shldnt be related" WHEN I TELL THEM "REACHING, CHOPPING/COOKING, EVEN TURNING THE DIAL ON THE STOVE OR RINSINSING IN THE SINK AND BRUSHING MY TEETH, ETC" CAUSE PAIN TO SHOOT DOWN TO MY HIP!! putting pressure on anythn needed while using my right hand and arm cause pain in my hip! Even bending down my head!! CRAZY!!! And the chiro got rid of all that once! Making the pain in my hip more concentrated/more painful, in the hip.. so strange! That's in fact, how I found out ALL THIS WAS MY HIP AN NOT MY WHOLE BACK! OK, I think that covers everythn. Sorry for rambling! Thnx for listening.. wish u were closer! I'm in covington ga, and see dr Billingsley, who's very good fr what I hear!
