And then there's the philosophical sadistic break-dancing harpoon diver who you fight on the surface of water who might have the coolest design in a game full of cool designs.

The Burst had a natural progression and was fun throughout the fight. The best part was that all the stuff she throws at you in the final phase is stuff you got used to dealing with throughout the fight, but just all at once. This fucker just throws his fucking tic-tac-toe board at you and tells you to "Get on my level, scrub." God I hate him on Furier.

This song got me thinking that sewer bosses normally don't have a theme to remember by. Then you get pieces like these that make fighting said sewer boss feel, for the lack of a better term, very VERY special.

Afro Samurai's reference is obvious. The hero stands as Afro, and the boss corresponds to Kuma (a tortured character, hidden behind a strange helmet and having suffered because of the hero). Takashi Okazaki is clearly behind art direction.
The more I hear people talk about Afro Samurai in relation to the many inspirations and assets granted from it onto Furi, the more I think this is (in all but name) the best Afro Samurai video-game adaptation ever made thus far.
This character may be one of the most epic in the game. His theme at first seems pretty down low, and you don't notice it, but when you understand the nature of the character and the theme it gets pretty epic >:)
i really hope more film makers and game designers see lorns brilliance... dude was born to build worlds with sound...if they don't have at least one of his songs in cyberpunk 2077, ill be greatly disappointed.

This song is so good. The sound design of it is so complex all over. So many satisfying complicated audio textures all the way through one after the other. The songwriting composition has flowing changes that work so well. This is one of lorn's best songs.
During my first play-through I was almost dissapointed that it never dropped, but I loved the contrast in this level, and this was among my favourite tracks. Slightly more subdued than the other tracks. It would have been hell if not for Touhou 12 teaching how to comprehend curved lasers xD
you can actually eat one of the curved lasers, and shoot the other one near its launch to make it stop early, same with when he shoots out the cross ones

I love the slow, erratic percussion in this one. It sounds like someone thrashing against bindings, smashing into the sides of a cage, with a keen desire to simply get closer to the thing that put them there…

5 years later I can still turn this song on, with some quality closed ear earbuds, close my eyes. And I’m suddenly back in that sewer. Even tho I haven’t seen it in years, this song lets me remember it perfectly

This is the only boss in this game that evokes my deep hatred due to how many times I had to fight him. His last phase is just brutal. I didn't have any problem with learning how to parry strikes, but precise dodges were really difficult to master.
Its got about 6 hours of base content unless you are flawless at execution. Ontop of that, higher difficulties, scoring systems and a speedrun mode/speedrun leader board. This game is a perfectionists dream.
I know I'm extremely late, but that's because Rider/Stranger/End/Whatever-you-want-to-call-him is immortal. If he "dies," he'll just get back up soon after
