@@Minifliek ok, based on skysports etc it doesnt seem that way. I am def a fan of Max but i am also a fan of Lewis how he races, a legend off course. I just see a lot of hate online coming from the Lewis fans against Max, wich i dont understand. The kid gave us litterly the best season in a very long time 😀
@@RC-mm5jb well im Dutch but to deny Lewis' brilliance is nothing but stupid i Just truly believe Max gave him a run for his money. Been a fan of many a driver before Max tho but i like his no holds barred racing and attitude reminds me of Schumi and Senna. And well people Will always hate on great drivers especially when they win under such circumstances but i believe Max is a worthy champion cause of how good hé was this season.
Dont think Cars were far apart through the season except for the last races where Mercedes deffinately pulled ahead.
Were it not for some incredibly bad luck it wouldnt have been a fight and i think that speaks volumes for how good hé drove this year.

8 years of Mercedes Domination makes us fully root for an underdog. And Max delivered that in spades. I was jumping out of the seat when he won. There's no doubt Hamilton will have that fire to try and win that 8th world championship but Max has shown to be the heir apparent.
And it gives Honda that fairytale ending to their story. From being the joke of the grid to now World Driver's Champion.
Don't worry, teams rise and fall. Drivers come and go but that makes Formula 1 so good.
In his fatherland alone he already had more than 6 million fans watching, let alone the entire world. We even witnessed many brits supporting Verstappen. This guy is the real deal, everything he says is what he thinks. No woke and fake interviews.. just the real deal.
Both are great drivers. But Max is down to earth, honest, direct. I like that. Lewis focuses too much on how to look good on social media. I just can't believe any word he's saying anymore. Also, Lewis wins on Max on the straights and Max wins in corners. This makes Lewis having a better engine and Max having better driving skills.
Best formula season ever.
Lewis is not loved as he thinks and as Skysport thinks. Most people see him as woke hypocrite, a crybaby and one very lucky individual.

I'm 44 years old and this Little Big Man Max Verstappen made my eyes tear like a little baby.
This was awesome and it shows that even if you aren't a verstappen fan....he made F1 populair again, Lewis is a great champion, 7 world titles says enough but his dominance also started to kill F1, the new generation finally start making the competition interesting and I hope that the field wil close with more dominant cars beside RB and Merc. I had tears in my eyes on sunday, my girlfriend didn't understand but for me as a dutch guy watching F1 for 30 years now this was the pinnacle. I have watched Senna, Prost, Mansell, Damon Hill, Schumacher....watched Jos verstappen getting his 3rth place podium.......but this......this was my F1 vulcano exploding.

It’s incredible how much F1 has grown around the world with Netflix and better promotion. I think that maybe Max is gonna be the face going forward and they’re gonna start promoting him more. Here in the US his name is starting to become more and more popular

I watched the race with my two friends, and one of them is Dutch. She gripped my hand so hard during the final lap that I thought she was going to break my fingers. She stopped breathing at one point. I think we all did. It was an amazing moment, glad I witnessed it, it’ll be forever burned into my memory.
Me and my gf went completelyyyyy nuts at home, wish we went to the MV event here. The joy, on everybody’s faces after such a crazy season is so amazing.

I had never cheered that much for any sports not even for my fav sports cricket.. but that night I kept watching even after Max was slipping away, then the moment of joy lol , will be remembered whole life.. they say anything can happen in live sports and that's the perfect example.

F1 isnt really that much popular in India there are about 100,000 fans from about 1.3 billion people. I began watching F1 solely because of Drive To Survive, this was my first season and with the interest that Max Verstappen has brought into F1 I was surprised to see F1 headlines on the front on an Indian Newspaper, this did not happen when Lewis secured his 7th and the beauty of this is that this season united fans together to re-instigate the entertainment brought by rivalries like Shumacher-Alonso, Alonso- Vettel, Massa - Hamilton. I had doubts watching this season as I expected another casual merc domination. THanks to MAX and Red Bull for creating this sport into a global icon and reaching out

Been a formula one fan but started watching every single session and race from last 2 years and boy its been a journey. F1 fans has to be more than 20 Millions from India who watch regularly, just look at the official statistics from F1 website, it shows 31 Million peak in 2020

Since 2007 i was so impressed by Lewis, i was sick that he lost the title but also thrilled that kimi won.

I am 18 years old, I have followed Redbull since VETTEL was champion. And seeing Redbull winning a championship again filled me with pride, I cried with happiness seeing my favorite team that never gave up
