Came for the Switch Collecting banter and it was random facts with some rumours about Switch 2.. :/ Nothing against this series but you could have easily have done a video on the Switch 2 making you want to collect Switch again rather than bump up the view time with the facts and stuff that aren't really relevant to the video title.
I'm gonna need some evidence that the Wii is less powerful than the GameCube, since every Gamecube game can be run on the Wii. It has a 1.5x faster CPU, faster GPU and much more RAM. And please only try and haggle in independant stores if you're buying multiple things.
I remember back in the day hearing that the Wii was "basically two GameCubes duct taped together" to refer to how it wasn't much of an upgrade. I think it still was at least as powerful as the GC though, if not more so.
The Wii was roughly, at least on paper, double the specs of a GameCube. For RAM, Cube was 40MB, Wii was 88MB. You can Google the specs. If he said the Wii was weaker, he's just incorrect.
getting to liberty city in GTA 3 was possible, using a Jet Pack and a certain mission, there should be footage on youtube, it's covered in snow and unfinished but possible!
You are way off on your judgement of how expensive those games were. You haven't adjusted for inflation and so that's a poor judge of what those games actually cost in real terms back then. Those £45 games are the equivalent of £90 now. To live in that era of the late 80s and early to mid 90s was not cheap when it came to games. This is a classic misunderstanding, as you probably think your currency is worth the same. it simply isn't - your currency has lost at least half of it's value in just 30 years. It was actually very rare to be able to afford a massive videogame collection if you were a teen or younger unless you were from a very well off family or had a job as a young person to fund game collection.
