Mark Metzger is such an awesome baritone. He locks into everything so well that you never hear him unless he wants you to hear him.

No Jason, you have the title right. They get lost historically simply because they're overshadowed by Vocal Spectrum and Max Q, but those 2005 sets just blew everyone away...still do in a lot of ways.

Love realtime, their 2005 set is so clean. Also, John Newell (lead) is the only Australian-born BHS international champion 🐨

They are sooo good. Tight rhythmically. Tight tuning. Blended so well, yet you can hear every voice if you want to. And all done without screaming in the rafters or putting up insanely long posts. They make it sound so easy, which is the hardest thing to do. A perfect skill for a song about the blues.

Love Realtime. The Metzger brothers created such a warm sound packed full of undertones. Not only did they sound awesome, their song selection was great. Yesterday I Heard the Rain, Loch Lomond, All of Me, etc. Definitely in my top ten of barbershop quartets.
