As for the tuning in this performance, it goes near a half step sharp after the pause at the end of Barbie Girl (measure 42), but I just wrote the rest of it in what I believe to be the original key, based on the lead at the end saying that the tag was in Bb. I apologize if you have perfect pitch and it's messing with you, but if you don't, hopefully this is helpful to see what I believe the intended parts were for that second half of the chart. I don't quite understand the joke with the Midtown flags...could someone explain?
Right before the finals that year a couple people handed out hundreds of those midtown flags to the entire audience, like people passed them down the aisles and everything. It just felt like one big joke that the audience was a part of. I remember when Midtown came out on stage everyone was standing up waving their flags and they all looked so surprised to see the entire crowd waving them like crazy
