the command tag on reveal seems like an indirect effort to buff the highcouncil seat as well, might make it an enticing decision to choose between swordmaster and highcounsil if you get to draft a lot of these cards
One thing you did not consider with Duncan is that you need not to send the agent to a combat spot to deploy him, as far as I understand. So you can deploy when no combat spot is available to you or simply if you wanted to use another spot, such as a green spot.
Enjoyed hearing your thoughts! When you were valuing Plasteel Blades, I thought it was strange that you equated a Spice to four Solari. At Spice Refinery, you get 2 Solari for sending your agent there, and the 1 spice only buys you 2 extra Solari. Valuing 1 spice at 2 Solari, Plasteel Blades actually ends up being pretty neutral in raw value, so every time you activate your 2nd Sardaukar skill it is net positive value. Excited for Bloodlines!
Yeah, 1 Spice ~ 2 Solari has been a pretty clear rough equivalency the designer uses since OG Dune Imperium. It appears in the 2->6, 3->8, etc. conversion at Sell Melange.
You're reading Fierce wrong. It's +2 swords max. To work how you're saying, it would need to read "FOR EVERY opponent with sandworms in the Conflict: +1 [Combat Strength]" EDIT: Removed an incorrect statement about flipping tech tiles due to errata pointed out by a reply, thanks for the correction.
You may flip a Tech Tile during your agent OR reveal turn. The Ix rulebook (first printing) had this wrong and there was Errata with the correction. The Bloodlines rulebook has it correct. (Unless otherwise noted - like Rapid Dropships says Agent Turn specifically)
1:03:50 Bombast feels like it's designed for Irulan. Ring to acquire it when you're already planning on hitting 6+, get the Solari and you never need to gum up your deck.
For Planetary Conflict, “When you win a Conflict: Draw a Card”, what effect would that card draw have? I might have my stack wrong, but it goes Reveal Turn -> Conflict -> Resolution. So, the card draw would happen during the resolution (distributing combat rewards, makers, etc). What would an extra card draw matter there, if persuasion points have already been used up during the reveal turn? Or, is the card draw for the beginning of the next turn?
I think the math on plasteel blades 17:02 is off. From spice refinery you see that 1 spice + one action is 4 solari, and one action is 2 solari, so one spice is 2 solari. That means that in theory the tech costs 1 spice.
Command 6+ ability is helping to alleviate situations that you raised to that six level of persuasion but there is no good card for you to buy and also increase a value of High Councel seat.
1:04:02 - pretty much the only way I can see myself getting Bombast is with Irulan's ring, if picking it up gives me that 6 persuasion for the insta-trash
Any idea how 1:09:33 (Engineered Miracle) works if you trash it? Do you lose the 1 persuasion in your reveal turn or can you buy cards first (i.e spending persuasion on the card) and then trash it?
29:52 Suspensor Suits doesn't work with Piter! But, I think this tech is great for Muah'Dib. If you buy that tech, putting a worm into the conflict with Muah'Dib is now an intrigue draw + an extra troop in the conflict on the reveal turn.
35:04 I wonder if Training Deport will be good for Gurney, where his passive helps turn 6 swords into +1 persuasion, and then that could help him get 6 persuasion for +2 swords haha
18:05 I think Plasteel Blades could be used turn one or 2 to get an early soldier and two of the reveal skills which the earlier the better right but definitely a niche use to it
I feel like with all the trash effects and self trash cards that they are really pushing deck building. Imagine by turn 4 getting down to a 7 or 8 card deck after trashing most of your starting cards, for example as the y’rkkon steersman or irulan, and getting a steersman or overthrow from engineered miracle. Can get 3 or 4 points a turn on turns 5 and 6 and end the game before turn 7. For example, 2 from faction/alliance a turn with overthrow and two faction access cards, 1 spice must flow (probably with high council, or persuasion bonus from a tech or Sardukar commander skill) and maybe 1 from a card that generates victory points like smuggler’s haven (lots of cards generate spice plus you can probably get spice from a maker spot so getting 4spice a turn would be possible)
Orski!!! We need you back. More Arcs and Dune gameplay plz! ❤️ What are your thoughts on Nucleum? Seeing that games that you enjoy, I think Nucleum might up your alley. Throw in a couple Of Nemesis as well, just for good measure 😂 Love your content, keep up the good work
Thanks for this very informative video. I've been hesitant to join the bloodlines games (online - including 2 of your games) because I didn't know the rules. Will feel comfortable joining a game now.
is the extra spice* spot only in the game if Esmar is in the game. nothing on the leader card says that. is it something you just add with bloodlines?? or does it say in the rulebook you only added if he's in the game?
As far as I've seen, this expansion seems to fit better with Dune Imperium Uprising than with Dune Imperium, which is probably better. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@@kash000 Kind of feel the same. Think I might put everything compatible with OG there and then everything compatible only with DI:U there, will have to leave out 6 techs and the Fierce Sardaukar skill, but I think that's it

Litany Against Fear activates your BG synergy for free without spending an agent. That is the main power of this card.
Good point
yeah seems super strong

The funniest thing was... for like 3 months there was absolutely nothing, and then boom xD You've got unboxing video with every tiny detail xD

1:11:31 Elite Forces + 1:06:05 Eliminate Allies + Heighliner/Sardaukar = 18-20 strength in 1 turn
I want to see someone pull this off 😂

Ive been waiting forever for your take on the expansion 😮🎉
If kota finds glowglobes in the 3 bottom tech tiles she could possibly get worms round 2 pretty easily

thanks for getting me hyped again after all this time. Whoop Orski!
48:01 Is Tuek Sietch able to be spied on or no?
9:49 is it confirmed that Fierce can trigger multiple times?
My understanding from other systems is that "if any" means it can only trigger once?
Wow staban is gonna looove servo-receivers 23:55

Persuasion from revealed cards is banked in a pool. When a card giving you persuasion is trashed you don’t lose its persuasion.
@@soniadeslongchamps9662 thank you!

I think Hasimir Fenring may fairly often just want to use his ring to trash itself for money and thin the deck.

Man these new imperium row cards are so freaking awesome!
Yeah I’ve been playing with them they’re great! Glad they didn’t dilute the deck down with weak cards
I am missing information in connection with Dune Imperium. Not everyone has or plays Dune Urprising.
Honey, new Orski video just dropped 😎
Nice vid, we ll you still covering some arcs vidéo as well ?
Orski is back! This is even more exciting than bloodlines!
Those thumbnails are on point 😂
i have a question because i dont remember. when you play a card the effect in the grey box is a may you do this or a must ?
Most effects are a must. The only exceptions are ones with cost, trash icon, blow shield wall or with text that says "you may".

Will Uprising and Bloodlines become available as digital games just like the original Dune Imperium?
New video - nice! 🙂
still playing arcs?
So it doesn't expand OG Imperium? 😥
It works with OG as well - But it seems primarily designed to expand uprising

@ Where did you find the images?
Someone uploaded them to a tabletop simulator mod
