- Here we are once again, showcasing the Fender Rumble 40 bass practice amp with guitar, but with humbuckers this time. Using my Edwards E-SA-125-LTS (stock) this time, guitar straight into the amp. Heil PR30 for capture, straight to Logic. I've added a wee bit of ambient reverb in Logic, no EQ/compression happening.
Let me know what you think in the comments, I think this once again shows how much fun that little amp can be on guitar!
And don't forget to check my other video with the Rumble 40 and guitar! Видеоклипы
Surprisingly crisp, I like it!
I started looking up this amp for my bass. But I'm comforted now in knowing that if I get it, I also have a decent amp that I can also use for my guitar for small gigs. Awesome playing and great video.
Thanks, glad I could help!
Fine musicianship. And surprisingly satisfying tone from a $230 solid state amp.
Thanks Thomas! It is quite surprising for the cost, and also I wasn't expecting this from a practice bass amp!
muchas gracias.
sounds good
Yup, for the $$ it's a great little gigging/jamming amp for when you don't need the big iron.
Wow, who knew? Nice playing.
Thanks!
@@JosephX74 Thanks for clearing that up.
Nice demo's, thanks! Do you use the bright button on the amp?
Hey Oscar, I didn’t, no button was pushed at all
Have you ever tried to use a looper guitar pedal with that amp? Thanks
I don’t own one, but I don’t see why it would be an issue, that would work perfectly
I wonder what would happen if you hit one of these with a treble booster
Good question, I might try the treble booster from the Helix to see what happens
Sounds great! How about the dynamic?
It's pretty good for a little transistor amp. My tube amps are doing better in that respect, but this one still feels very natural.
is the 40 watt rumble loud enough to jam with drum?
I’d say it depends on the drummer and style of music. You may need more power if you want headroom. If that helps, I’ve used it for both bass and guitar in band settings, using the DI out to go to the PA with bass, or mic’ed up with guitar.
@@AlexVoinotGuitar thanks for your reply, I was uncertain either to go with the rumble 40 or 100, i like both 🤣🤣
Nice sound! Its not dangerous for the amp use a guitar in it?
No it’s alright, lots of examples of bass amps being used as guitar amps (Fender Bassman for example)
Dangerous for the neighbor 😂😂😂
No but a bass into a guitar amp could damage the speaker.
how well does it take pedals?
Surprisingly well. You can tell in the video with the distortion pedal. It does nicely compress the signal coming in.
@@AlexVoinotGuitar Alrighty, thanks
