I stumbled upon porn when I was 9 years old. I remember when I started watching it that I would imagine everyone with their clothes off and it really fucked up my mindset. My mindset towards women changed and I knew this myself even when I was only 11, 12 years old without any studies needed.
This is exactly the experience I also had. The worst thing is that I remember telling other people about it at 12 years old and showing it to them, now I feel horrible because I have probably caused other kids to get a p addiction too.
Really liked this video, gives me more motivation to keep going!

I'm a girl and unfortunately I watched those disgusting contents.
It all started when someone forced me to watch P with them when I was 7-8 years old. After that I actually was traumatized and so confused, but also saw it as something who bringed me curiosity.
I've been dealing with depression and for feeling something I used to watch P to search a short happiness that would dle right after i closed the site. I wouldn't say I had an addiction but it distorted my image of s3x and now I'm disgusted by it and gave me a lot of guilt through years.
From when I reverted to Islam I watched less and less but still watched it one time a months due that depression. This gave me even more guilt and depression, I feel brain-broken and I wish i could block any site of my phone so I could never search it ever again.
May Allah heal me, pray for me...

It was a curse on my life. I used to be great at school but since I first saw it when I was 9 I continued consuming it. I'm now addicted and can't get by a day without it. I'm 15 and I used to be really good at school, now I feel lazy and barely want to do anything but I just can't stop.

I started at around 10 and constantly watched for about 3 years, but the toll was insane. I became extremely depressed on the inside and on the outside I let my body go. I almost dies at my own hands because of this addiction, but when I turned 13 I decided to turn my life around. Year 2 of not watching this content and I actually enjoy life again
I’m on day 3 of not doing it no more because it ruined my life I don’t wanna fall back into like I always did any tips?

1. God needs to be the center of your life. Nothing can get in the way or lead you away from God.
2. You have to want to quit and the motivation to make a change.
3. People that are negative are not good for you and your growth in life. If people are talking negatively or feeding the bad thoughts they need to be cut out.
4. Social media. If anything that is showing negative content that will lead you astray. You need to stop being on the platform or clear what's on your feed.
4. Find a support group and someone to keep you accountable.

I got addicted to it at age 10 my friend showed me it and i was genuinely scared of it to the point that as a 10 year old i read online articles arguing about the effects of it and if it was bad for you or not and quite literally most the articles i read were telling me it was normal and healthy and had no known side effects aside from like 2 unpopular study's so i kept watching it until it was a routine mind you i was FUCKING 10 and this carried all the way out until i was 17 when quarantine happened it made it worse like i started fantasizing about weirder and weirder stuff to chase a new high until the day i was disgusted at what i had just masterbated to this was around when self improvement RUclips was trending thank god i came across dopamine detoxing and shit like that its still a scar to this day i felt all of the negatives from porn addiction mentally and physically and relationship wise it ruined my fuckin life and gen alpha is worse believe me
As a girl, trust me, it's better when people get off those sites. Truly, I think the respect goes up. You get respected more. I am completely against that garbage and people who deny it's bad are part of the problem.

I have grown up lucky enough to have parents that restricted my internet usage and warned me of the dangers of porn from an early age. I am among the 29% of teenagers who have never been exposed. I am so thankful for my dad, who wasn't ignorant of the horrific dangers of porn, protecting both my younger siblings and me by being hyper-vigilant about our internet use. I know that most parents have turned a blind eye to what their kids do online and don't find out until it is too late. The studies showing that porn increases sexual violence and rape is terrifying to me as a woman. My generation is depressed and addicted, and it saddens me to my core.
