the boogeyman on the bed idea is genius! for end-game contents, different trophies/dolls to collect that has certain conditions to unlock (like the boggeyman doll), then you can display the dolls on billy's bedroom so that the player can show it off to their co-op friends. keep it up! you guys are awesome!
@@JonasBroman maybe a doll for each guardian (dragon, yeti, dog) which can be unlocked by finishing the game while the specific guardian is still alive.
@@JonasBroman you can also expand this idea, the dolls you collect can add more on the actual game. let's say you unlock the dragon doll, you can interact with it just like with the boogeyman doll and you will start the game with a dragon guardian.

Maybe the dolls can be this games stand in for achievements. That way you actually get something tangible instead of just a little icon on the steam page
I think the creepy doll thing is cool, and the VIP room is a nice idea. I do have 2 critiques though as well. 1: I think the hard mode health bar should be half the size - not just set your HP to half. Personally that would really annoy me to be picking up/buying healing items but not see my HP go above 50%, when it could be going up to 100% of half the amount. 2: I've said this from the start, I think the visibility is an issue. I think if there was an option or something to give Billy a white outline it would help a lot.
i have a idea the hardmode shall have a new name the uncomfortable mode and if you beat it then you unlock a shadow doll when sleeping with the doll it starts insomnia mode.and a teddy bear when you sleep with the bear it starts comfortable mode more hp.love your content.
Having stuff unlocked by beating the game with a certain costume or doing something specific with that costume. If you play as the secret agent you could unlock GPS after beating the finall boss. If you play as the pirate you could unlock the pirate NPC if you buy out one of the tooth fairy's shop during a run (not counting sleeping pills) Hard mode is a great idea, but I don't understand why would it give you more teeth? Getting more teeth makes sleeping pills easier to get. Hard mode should actually be harder. Halving your healthbar doesn't make it harder, it only makes you have to don't get hit as often. Instead of halving the healthbar you should make harder enemies spawn, maybe add new patterns like in Terraria where Expert mode gives bosses harder attack patterns that don't appear on lower difficulty or maybe just make new enemies that replace the easier ones. In Enter The Gungeon you can ask an NPC to make the game faster overall (enemies get faster, their bullets get faster, you get faster and stuff like that). You can ask another NPC to make the game harder by adding new things to avoid in rooms. There is another NPC that changes the game completely and makes it so you get a chest at the beggining of the level from which you can only take one of 8 options, but you can't get weapons and items from normal treasure rooms and the shop. There is yet another NPC that randomizes your weapon every couple of seconds. There is a lot of ways you can make Hard mode, but please don't make it that it just halves the health bar

What's with the dream catchers being a new form of currency? Are you going to add a feature that you can loop the game like in Nuclear Throne? Maybe you can earn a dream catcher everytime you defeat the Boogeyman. But what would the dream catchers be used for?
Ive seen lots of changes that affect the enemies and players in 'Hard-Mode' which makes increasingly more difficult enemies. Having the Bullet patterns different, having the models look more crazed and terrifyingly nightmarish than billy's regular fears, having less hp and more limited resources, and the speed of the enemy's attacks all play apart of 'Hard-Mode' aspects in a lot of games, yet I can't wait to see what you have in store!
The hard mode just affecting the amount of health and rewards you get sounds kind of boring, It´d be cool if there were some hard mode exclusive bullet patterns for the bosses and some of the enemies.
I agree in principle, but I think the standard health bar is a lot more readable at a glance than the filling Z’s, which are a bit more abstract. I think a middle ground would be good, with a standard health bar next to a Z symbol, communicating that it’s sleep without making it hard to understand or cjeck at a glance
I love unlocking art galleries and jukeboxes in the end-game, so that kind of stuff might be fun :D Maybe some Arcade games could show up in the VIP rooms after you beat the game to allow you to play some Mini-Games or something? Glad to see you guys' are that much closer to finishing the game! :D
maybe you can add end-game secret boss? like the Valkyries on God of war. there will be rooms on the VIP section where you need to buy the keys to unlock the rooms. then after defeating the secret boss, you'll get a medal or something.
I feel like you should unlock something, such as an item for beating the game with each costume (similar to how in the binding of Isaac you unlock an item or trinket from beating the game as different characters)
i think some kind of pvp mode could be interesting, but i have a much more interesting idea: race mode basically, you and another player can enter "race mode", where you both start the game at the same time, and have to try to kill the final boss as fast as possible. you can also have it so that they get the same rooms and shop items if possible, to reduce rng. there should also be a timer, and notifications for when the other player does something notable, ie killing a boss. i dont know how possible this would be, but i thought it could be interesting!
im personally a fan of rougelikes that are really really hard on the first runs and get easier with meta progression (unlocks and upgrades in between runs). this makes it so taht experienced players don´t just beat the game on their first try. but that might also just be my oppinion

How about every time you beat the game you unlock a new boss that you might encounter when you reach the boss room for it’s level

A sandbox mode that people can make rooms, summon enemies, get items and all that good stuff. It would be more appealing then a dev console.
You should add a boss rush mode where you fight all the bosses, and maybe at the end you fight a new one.
