Perhaps an already answered question but going to ask anyways. Looking at getting a Impreza or Crosstrek (most likely...would rather have an Impreza but kids/dog etc!)that's a bit newer (2020+). Do these mods you talk about go with newer models? Just curious!
    Love the content.

Do you know if it's possible to install roll bars on stock vehicles? I noticed you have bars in the back cargo area of your vehicle. Wasn't sure if those were for another purpose. Can't remember if you said if it was for weight limitation or not. The roll bars are an advantage the FB20 has on the FK7.

Just for clarification, the FB20 is the name of the Subaru engine inside the Impreza and Crosstrek, the 20, is 2.0Litire displacement. The GP(7) is the name of this Subaru hatchback chassis.
As for the roll bar, did you mean roll cage? Or anti roll bar (aka sway bar)?
Most of the cargo area "bars" are for chassis stiffening. To keep the body and suspension mount points rigid. A real "roll cage" is a little different. It serves to keep a driver protected during a roll over crash and also add chassis rigidity.
Anti-roll bars also called sway bars, are suspension components to reduce side to side (lateral) body roll when cornering.
I just wanted to clear up some wording so I can better answer your question.
Now which one did you mean?

Bro, my MAF sensor needed replacing. 1200 farkin clams for an OEM replacement. This is just insane. I found a second hand one but still... nearly 400 for it... come on...

Is that a fact? The OEM MAF sensors are expensive. And labor for even small jobs compounds the cost. How do you know your MAF sensor needs replacing?
