I put about 1/2" of stacked up washers to shim down my carrier bearing on my '03 outback driveshaft years ago and I think it turns much smoother with no more minor vibrations. Needed longer bolts and some exhaust heat shield tweaks but otherwise it's been great!
@@betancourtl wow! The CF driveshaft is like the ultimate upgrade. Lighter and stronger! Do you have any other drivetrain upgrades? I found the diff carrier and diff lockdown were very good.

great info. I am still searching to find out if newer CVT based Outbacks (or say even the Impreza/Crosstrek) have something similar to the Perrin Subframe Lockdown Bolts.
Great mod there. During covid I did find a company that made lockdown bolts for the entire car. I'll have to dig up the company name. It was a smaller specialized company. Thanks for stopping by. Outbacks can also be tuned!
Hello, "Jason Leung" I was analyzing your channel and saw that in your channel have some problem, That's why your channel is not much growing and not getting much engagement, If you can solve these problems, Your channel will grow like a storm. If you tell I can tell these problems. Where can I tell? Here or ig or where?

@@MattBalder yes! An 03 outback. After getting back under the car to shim, it really does feel a little smoother. Thanks for stopping by Cheers!
My Forester has a 30mm lift all-round. I never thought about this!
My WRX feels more responsive, and I get less slop when driving in lower gears. I liked it so much I ended up getting a 1 piece CF driveshaft from DSS.
