I love these types of plays because there’s nothing to criticize (except maybe the blocking) on the play. It’s just good football.

There is lot to critcize. It's only a blocked punt because Ewers did his usual thing of things balls off their fingertips of his receivers, and this time someone was their to intercept. But luckily the Texas defense was coming on the field for more or less the first time after getting after the first Ewers interception quickly lead to a touchdown, and they managed to hold OU on the goalline.

@@craigdupree1687Jatavion Sanders dropped that ball as it went right through his hands. Throw was a little high but he should’ve reeled it regardless. Just a lucky play for OU to intercept it and good tip drill awareness by the OU player.

When you watch the video you can see that the punters momentum carried him into his own teammate. Even if the Texas player ran into the punter it still wouldn't be a penalty because he blocked the punt
