I like it. Question, why is your work bench so high to the point that everything you do requires having power tools so close to your face? Also I'm sure it's a lot harder on your shoulders than need be.
Very very cool. I want to do this for 2 years now hehe, got someone to do the metal part for me,and I was looking for the wood part, now that I saw how you did it I can probably do it myself hehe. Please tell me a bit about the resistance of the chair. I want to use them at my dining table ,I'm 79kg and my wife is 50kg. Would it be suitable? Will they last a for a few years ? I'm more concerned about the wood part to be honest.
I made this chair myself and found the back unsupported corner bowed. Itmade for a uncomfortable feeling for people sitting in it for the first time. Im curious if you noticed bowing or sag on the back unsupported corner? I love the design and when you first look at it its a very cool design.
I’m looking to make this design as a project in school I was wondering if you had the dimensions and amount of 1 1/2 inch box tubing you used so I know how much to order. Thanks a lot :)
Your welcome. Is 40mm which is close 1 1/2" (1.5748"). Thickness is 2mm or 0.080". For dimensions please go to www.pinterest.com/pin/747597606900629928/. You will notice that the width of the chair is missing. I did that intentionally. In my case, it is 45 cm, but this is probably the minimum. I did it for a specific person. You can go a little wider to fit arbitrary people.
Abosultely not, I saw this and decided to build one. Used 2 inch tube steel, it bends way far to the unsupported side when you sit in it. It is for looks only
Would you be able to tell me about the other dimensions? (Size of the seat plate, size of the backrest, height of the seat above the floor, height of the armrests above the floor, width and depth of the frame, measured on the inside) I would be very happy. thank you
Did you open link that I added in the comment? All the base dimensions are there. You can calculate other dimensions. For example bottom wood plate width = 50 - 5 - 5 = 40cm. Height is 30cm. E.t.c pin.it/1rtzXXw

:) Yes, it's very inconvenient. I just put a chipboard sheet on two sawhorses. I had no better choice at that time. Now I have a good bench.
Perfect work. I liked it. But always before you start a vdo show the final product then start the work. So that more people will be interested.
Good point. Thanks. Will do that in the next video.
A very nice job, such a design. I loved recreating the chair. Was it possible for you to list the dimensions or a sketch with the dimensions?

It looks solid till now. No issues. I will recommend using hardwood and good epoxy resin and that's it.

My daughter uses this one. Didn't hear anything like that. She uses a chair cushion but not on the back.
WELL DONE AWSOME
Thank you

Yes, he can support a man of any weight.
Just use hardwood and quality glues.

@@gixxxer1k how thick was the wall of the steel tube ? maybe with a thicker on?
Yes, absolutely
Thickness is 2mm. It will hold more than 110kg for sure.
