what if i have a 1600mhz chip and insert a 3200mhz chip in the other slot will it be as if it never had a 3200mhz chip in it or will it just add to whatever is therwe and go faster. i kmnow this is old post but i wanted to know if i should just throw the old 1600mhz chip out which is only 4gb anyway and just put the 8gb 3200mhz chip in there. and how would it act if i just had both of them? please let me know.
