I just love this girl i found out about her alnost a decade ago in jail , they were playing a movie about surfers and desire came on and i had to write that song down because i didnt know who the artist but my black self found out. She is it and i just love her. I didnt know the song name or nothing just wrote the lyrics down ,got out of jail abd and bam, there she and it was the discovery of a beautiful talented artist. Man i love me some meg myers

I end up in a lot of hospitals. I've been in many VA hospitals for extended PTSD treatment. I always share her music as far and wide as I can and I've found that her spirit gets through to even the hardest of souls if they are even the slightest bit open to the concept of healing. It's hard to admit in those atmospheres that you need healing from the things you've seen but it's so essential and she really get's through.
Complex PTSD is horrible, this gal and K Flay are both amazing, amazing comment too, be safe and good luck 🎉😊

Better late than never, Ms. Rose. I did not find out about Meg until I heard "Tennessee" and saw the video, then mistakenly concluded she was a comedy act like Amy Schumer. Obviously, I was mistaken, and I eventually educated myself to Meg's vision(s), her enormous talent, and her magnificent body of work (which I hope she continues and expands upon pretty much forever).
It's OK. Your not that late....just bear in mind the amout of people discovering KATE BUSH right now.

Same old story: Meg has too much passion, too much honesty, too much integrity, to be "popular". Real passion, real honesty, real integrity, make Joe and Jane Schmuck UNCOMFORTABLE, so massive commercial success is not going to happen. Sad, but inevitably true.
John Thome: so completely sad, but so totally true! I grew up in the late 70s and 80s and I am sure had she come out in the 80s she would be a star by now!! I have listened to every song of hers I can find and there is not one that I don’t love!! I can only say that about a handful of artist. Running Up That Hill is one of my all time favorites and usually the cover of the song is never quite as good as the original, but she is one of those rare artist where I actually like her cover better than the original 😱 Regardless of weather or not she is ever on every radio station in America, she is absolutely an amazing talent and a true artist!!!!

A few days ago I won a contest w the local alt. Station. Meg. Was playing a private show at a local bar as part of a promotion. She is awesome. After the show I met her and took a selfie. W her. She is so nice in person. She is a very. Real down to earth person and her voice.... wow. Anyway when she gets a little more radio play and people Start knowing who she is she, she is gonna become a huge star.

Did you think maybe she's already had the opportunity? I bet with her talent she's already been propositioned but people don't realize what you have to sacrifice to become a huge star and maybe she doesn't want that. I personally am kind of scared to put myself out there cause I know what's on the other side and I don't think I want it. I don't want fame and to make large sums of money you're always going to have unwanted attention and vultures. There are a ton of underground artists that do their own thing for this reason. When you get signed most places will have you sing their lyrics, look the way they want, act the way they want, you really do have to sell yourself in so many ways

I am really hard to please with music. I feel ashamed that I didn't hear about MEG until a few days ago. She's just simply brilliant. Music, vocal, lyrics and clips...those elements just go together so well in every song. Such a talent...now I think she's probably the most talented solo female vocalist of all time.
