Damon absolutely saved Tailgate n’ Go’s asses. Not sure if they were ready to give up or didn’t know they could counter, but whatever it was Damon’s advice saved them.
Yeah, good move by Daymond. Plus they chose the perfect shark for their product. Now they have a licensing deal with the NFL.

Its a strategy to make them think they aren’t worth much and need him so he can bring up the skin. They all do it.

Nah, Cuban is the best. He’s a self-made billionaire, and his net worth is consistently increasing. He’s completely self-made and the ONLY shark from the regular cast who hasn’t cried during a business deal. Once I saw the others cry during emotional pitches I was left with the only billionaire in that room, Mark Cuban.

Kevin is definitely the best. He constantly gets people better deals even though he doesn't want to make a deal with that person. But I guess all the other sharks aren't Alpha enough for BizWiz. They cried during a pitch, so they aren't worthy of the billions of dollars they have earned throughout their careers.

Patient? He offered an absolutely horrendous deal, there is no point in taking it away. Kevin doesn't care since he knows his offer was bad, he's just hoping they are desperate enough to want to leave with a deal.
He uses this strategy quite frequently.

mark knew he was the most wanted shark for the first group and pressured them to make a deal before Lori could even make an offer to compete. smart man
Mark is usually flawless. But when he made that offer to the trophy guys he was starting to say his "yes or no" thing which I respect, but he finished that sentence and Lori instantly started talking, they naturally glanced over to acknowledge someone addressing them and mark did not even give them a moment to say yes and he goes IM OUT... lol... because Lori interrupted?!?!? He did correct himself but he could of put more emphasis on it.
I mean, he said "I'm out" but still got the deal, and did it without giving Lori a chance to speak. If anything I'd say it was one of his best flawless moments.
Snapping in or out isn't really a good tactic it's to controlling or at least say or back out smoothly.

He was smart, he knew that they wanted him. And gave them a higher offer, knowing that the other sharks would counter his offer and try to get with the dudes. Which is why he said “yes or no” It’s a common tactic in economics (which I learned in college)

Mark Cuban is the most professional out of the lot. Always has nicest things to say even though he doesn't invest in them.
Professional? He's the guy who strangles people out of deals. He's only professional when he doesn't care about making a deal, otherwise he's the worst, followed by Daymond.

Mark is grossly under appreciated. He knows how to heat up the room to make a deal but his responses and reasoning why he backs out is clear and respectful.

I'm not sure if Kevin is the best shark, but I'm sure that he is the most deserving person to be a shark and important one during entrepreneurs figuring out the deals.

What i have learned in live is that it does not hurt to ASK. ASK!ASK!ASK! You never know what the other person going to say or in this case don’t know if you can change the person’s opinion and this is a great example.

I like the outdoor box. It's a one time investment that you can (hopefully) get use out of time and time again. Whether it's on a camping trip, tailgating or even in ur own backyard. I can't tell u how often my bf is popping his head into the house when he's grilling asking for paper towel, a wet paper towel, a this.. a that.. etc. idk I think it's brilliant

they focused too much on the money and not at all on the value and doors he would open, i would have taken that deal and run, yes you have to pay back the 500k, but he will make you millions in return, he is working on a deal with costco for his wine, he can easily say add this product to your shelves, set you up with a marketting company, reduce your making costs, scale up the business, your margins go up through the roof, you have a lot of subscribers ...

If I heard it correctly they already had investment rounds most likely their equity is probably thin dry or they have a capital issue and having debt doesn't really help them. They would have accepted without the debt for 4% equity. Or the issue is a bit of both

For the tailgate one his initial offer was really insulting and seemed like more of a hustle, even though them not selling many units did make it seem like the safe play. At the same time they really wanted the other guy or Cuban for the sports connection.
