@@hunter.b43 i didn't buy this board but I buy Asus ROG Strix B650E-F. I'm planning to stick with more futuristic board to skip AM6 socket. using expo will slow down boot up, i got 35 seconds just too boot up windows but if I'm not using expo, boot up will be same as other board around 5 seconds

I just built this one 10 days ago. Can't run Expo with out random crashes with 6000 ddr5. Even with manual setting it didn't work. No problems with default 4800 settings so far.
Picked this game up thanks to good ole Microcenter. 7700x w a "free" Gskill 6k 32gb kit and 50$ off the mobo. Figured that was the best deal I'd see in the near future on the platform. Now for these GPUs to release so I can pick where I go on that route.
@@Thomas-fk6ep I went for the Asus B650A(lots of white w/CM MF120halos and a white Hyte y60) and it's running great so far. Done a bit of tinkering in PBO and curve optimizer. Nothing drastic but it's been decently stable. Admittedly I don't do a ton of productivity work so the tinkering is really just for my own enjoyment. It's mainly just used for gaming. Once everything's ironed out to my liking I'll prob temp limit it and enjoy my games.

I have a BSOD practically everyday and I'm still waiting for the next BIOS update to drop. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, and more... I've set BIOS to defaults, no OC, reseated everything, reinstalled Windows twice, rolled-back my NVIDIA drivers, bought new RAM still happening, scanned for viruses, SFC scans, changed power settings, only 1 5+ year old drive was moved to this rig. So, if I have to axe it then so be it. I'm just tired of nothing working and new errors...
Itt really depends on what you will be doing. there is no harm in trying first and if needed get cheap display focused gpu later. they are under 100 usd nowdays
@@jesuk4184as long as you don’t try to enable expo while using more than 64gb of ram it’s been amazing for me. I run four sticks of ram at 128gb and I’m capped out 3600mhz ram speed. Doesn’t bother me too much but I use my pc for more than just gaming but if you keep it 64gb you should be able to use the advertised speeds for ram. Hopefully this is fixed in a future bios update or newer motherboards fix this issue but both amd and intel are having this issue with DDR5 RAM.
yeah well.. the argument against the plastic caps on the connectors. any man has a pair of pliers. if not, don't bother go near any pcb. what about the VRM? did you test the board? does it get hot? how about overclocking the RAM? this board is 255 euros (excl. VAT) here. that's not cheap.

cheapest B650 here is the Gigabyte DS3-h and its $250 lol. The Rog Strix reviewed here is $410 .... Thats more than I payed for my Asus X570-E rog strix board. So this board with a 7600x is $820 here. Going Intel with with same mobo in B660 model + 13600K is $ 710. So a $110 difference in price. AMD needs to drop their prices.
agreed, the price difference is still too much. Thing to consider though - current intel platform will change and no way for upgrade, the am5 boards will support at least 2 more CPU generations

Just bought the board with my 7600x

I did update the recent bios, but it still randomly reboots. Everything negative I've read about this motherboard is exactly happening to me.
Uodate: I replaced the power supply, and so far It's been great. It's only been 6 day's though.

If you have only one SSD then you should be able to connect it direct to the top slot and then use PCiE expansion for your capture card.
