@@OleHerland they worship a fiery Bull god called Hashut, like the other chaos gods he doesn’t physically show up but the horrifying creatures and demons are manifestations of his power
@@OleHerland The Minor Chaos God is named Hashut. He is not shown onscreen since Chaos Gods entering the mortal plane, even a Minor one, would probably shatter reality.
But he is said to have the image of a great metal bull wreathed in flame. So that metal monster at the end is his avatar much like how a Greater Daemon is an avatar for the main Chaos Gods.

The reason the mechsuit dwarf (Astragoth Ironhand) is in a suit is because half of his body has petrified. Chaos Dwarves use magic unlike regular dwarves and that will slowly turn their bodies to stone. Astragoth is super old and powerful, but he needs to the suit to get around now.
Isn't petrification only activated when they miscast? Or is it just using magic at all?
@@Miki-hk6vy I think just from using magic (chaos magic) at all. Each spell = slight petrification. Takes time but eventually every chaos dwarf spellcaster gets there.

@@Miki-hk6vy Dwarfs are never meant to cast spells. Hashut found a way to make it happen but it's still not spiritually right, hence the petrification. Their own bodies are rebelling against the unnaturalness of it all.

Dude, I love Chaos Dwarfs. They're one of two fantasy armies I've collected (along with Bretonnia). Super psyched to finally get them in Total Warhammer!

@@OleHerland I don't have a very big army and it's pretty much exclusively 3rd party models, as in models made by other companies than Games Workshop, but yeah I've got som Chorfs. I've even got a version of that big metal bull demon.
the orcs you see are regular orcs, the taller goblins are hobgoblins, they are about as big as a human and have a serious backstabbing addiction, if they are in an army and the other side offers them more valuable things they will immideatly betray their employers, they also did this when the black orcs rebelled and thus they have a higher status than a slave or normal servants amongst chaos dwarfs whilst being hated by all other orcs and goblins
there is some Dune 2021 (you checked it at 5:06) and its Sarduukar chant

the dawi zhar, the chaos dwarfs, a colony cut of from the dwarfen empire, forsaken by the ancestor gods, when hashut the father of darkness offered his aid and their magic resistance failed to protect them from the chaotic energies assailing them, what choice did they have?
Chaos dwarves are both very similar to ordinary dwarves and at the same time very different from them. Chaos dwarves also have a concept of shame and humiliation, they have the same attitude to insults as their relatives. Chaos dwarves also honor their elders. However, where ordinary dwarves are incredibly conservative, chaos dwarves are constantly striving for new things, without limiting progress in any way. Where dwarves despise all magic, and in general are not disposed to it, chaos dwarves can capture a demon inside the mechanism and have their own sorcerers. Also, the entire economy of the chaos dwarves is built on slave labor.
Chaos Dwarfs honor their elders, but I don't think that includes any elders that died.
Their version of the Slayers also comes with forgiveness as an option as well as death...not because their nice mind you, they just have too low a population not to.

Have you watched the latest Dune movie? The scene at 1:05 (in your reaction video) is a reference to a scene from that movie, the one where we first get to see the Sardaukar.
I didn't like chaos dwarfs. their old minis looked weird and goofy. But after this trailer I'm all in. If they ever get modern minis I would collect them 100%

Dude, my hair is similarly blonde and tried almost the exact same type of hairdye....it worked out in pretty much the same way as yours, with my pale blonde head turning into an even paler kinda greyish head. 😂😂

Th reason why it's Orcs and not Black Orcs, is that, yes, the Chaos Dwarfs created the Black Orcs as a larger, stronger and more compliant slave race. However, they only got the first two right. The Black Orcs were NOT compliant AT ALL. they led a slave uprising that nearly wiped out the Chaos Dwarfs, they only just managed to defeat their former Slaves with a whole shitload of casualties. and the defeated Black Orcs scattered all across the world. Since the the Chaos Dwarfs tend to stick to normal orcs as their favourite slaves (though they will enslave any race, excepting the Skaven, who are waaaaaay to likely to rebel effectively (which the Chaos Dwarfs learned the hard way), so they are just killed out of hand these days.
Aren’t hobgoblins their main slave race now?
@@HistoritorJimaldus Hobgoblins are the slaves that get higher perks and more responsibilities. They dress up in garbs that ape their masters, with robes and big hats (out of cheap cloth) and (shitty) tools hanging from their belts. Look at the early parts of the trailer, where a Hobgoblin pushes around those Orc slaves. Notice how the Hobgoblin, despite grinning and bullying others, still wears a metal slave collar.
Also, even if it seems like pretty much all slaves will be Greenskin in the game, the Dawi-Zharr have no problem with enslaving any other population, like Humans, Ogres or Skaven. It's just that the Greenskins are the most numerous because they have the easiest time still reproducing under the grueling conditions of slavery. Ogres need lots of expensive meat. Humans are fragile and don't really get it on, let alone survive pregnancies, when being worked to the bone in the polluted factories and mining pits across the corrupted Fields of Zharr. And Skaven only really know how to reproduce using Brood Mothers, which don't get sold to outsiders and pretty much never get captured alive in battle.

There aren't really any Black Orc slaves in the Chaos Dwarf empire, despite said Black Orcs having originally been created by Chaos Dwarf experimentation. The higher capacity for organization and discipline that Black Orcs have led to them staging a slave revolt so successful it almost toppled the Chaos Dwarf empire, so now the Chaos Dwarfs stay well away from what they consider a failed experiment.
Please react to Azariah Kyras speech. Probably the best bit if Warhammer voice acting out there. Also, OfficiallyDevin's Warhammer Lore vid is probably the best short humourous summary of the Warhammer factions out there. Criminally underrated.
