Thank you for all the helpful information. Going through TSW for 3 months now. Burning skin at the moment. Sore. No sleep and super itchy and a whole lot of mixed emotions right now. 😔 Hopeful to better days and complete healing! Hang on tight. We'll get through it! 🙏🏻
Thank you for this I’ve been on topical steroid spot treatment for two years more heavily in the last six months. I’m going through withdrawal. I am on week three. I’m having minor symptoms. Compared to what I’ve seen from other people. It’s still very troublesome to me, but I want to thank you because you’re the first personwho makes me feel not hopeless makes me feel like OK maybe I’m almost out of the woods. Thank you for that.
hello guys, im currently on my 2nd month of TSW and ive been on steroids for about 24 years on and off. And hollllyyyy, this withdrawal period was absolutely hell for me. im currently still withdrawaling and healing my gut as well with supplements like "RESTORE Gut well-being" Liquid (check it out) and been drinking grass fed chicken broth every day. Withdrawaling from these strong medications can really affect you mentally, i hope and pray that people with this horrific condition can overcome the process the withdrawal.
It would be so helpful to those of us with children who cannot speak for themselves if adults going through TSW would make a video explaining stages and what they’re feeling. Best wishes as you heal.
I cannot do cold turkey i use to slowly cut steriod every day or week.. if any one cannot go to cold tukey i advince make it slowly cut the steriod until completely not use any more...
Sorry so late reply it's me alona my skin is doing well I'm 15 months already TSW. My skin is getting OK still have flair up dry and redness sometimes itchy but I'm soo happy not bad like before. I'm still using sudocream to manage this TSW keep going guys soon all us will heal ❤️❤️❤️
@@goddessexy690 hey alona can you tell how did you started getting rid of steroid ointment/cream..I am planning to get away from this too. It’s been 12 years I am using the topical steroid on face ..really scared after going through everyone experiences. Please share your journey please
Whats the best way to heal from TSW and heal the gut i didnt hear an actual answer in this video of what to do he just explained is. I used momatasone daily for up to 5 Yrs on facial skin i withdrawn from topical steroids for now 3 years now my facial skin is very dark and thin and my neck is also very dark and i have TSW eczema all over my body im just wondering is this just time that will heal this or is their something i can be doing to speed this up I.E diet in taking of particular natural remedies??
I’m going through TSW at the moment, I don’t know the protocols and am not a Dr but would advise getting tested for any true allergies so you can avoid anything causing flare ups outwith. For healing the gut I have been looking into fasting and probiotics. Some are proposing avoiding moisturisers though some do well with coconut oil. It seems that we are all so different in relation to sensitivities etc that personal trial and error are likely necessary. All the best, hope things have gotten a bit better for you!
Im so stupid I had been going through TSW two times before started using a nasal spray had no idea they had steroids bow O have to go through this again and I am devastated
I wanted to find out if fat is good for eczema patients. Fats like coconut oil, red palm oil, avocado oil, olive oil. The Medical Medium said it's not good for the liver so I just want to find out what the deal is. Thanks
what the hell? i've been using clobetasol steroid cream since 16 so 5-6 years and I didn't even use it so much during some of them years, only in my 21st year did i use a lot and i'm going through this TSW for 2 weeks. when will it go away?
How exactly do you taper off steroids? I can't find much online. I am tapering now, but I have no real direction on how to reduce the amount of steroids and how to reduce the intervals. Any help or links woukd be greatly appreciated
You DON'T taper off steroids! I tried for THREE YEARS! Only got wors and worse! My advice wound be to get all things sorted out in your life and job and finances and circumstance so that you van head into a time of healing. Best of luck to you❤
Jesus, likewise. The burning is bad but the unbearable itch is the worst, can’t even play guitar it’s so persistent. Stick with it, it will get better. Get tested for allergies and eat clean. Am finding anything I’m sensitive to or any junk food ends up with everything going supernova. All the best!
@@jdw9260 start avoiding diary and wheat/gluten as much as you can, also protein high foods like meat which have long protein chains. And to repair the intestinal wall eat lots of kefir (not yogurt, kefir) kombucha, sauerkraut, etc. Whatever has lots of pre and probiotics!
Hi there- I’ve dealt with eczema on and off most of my life. I’ve been on topical steroids since May 2014 (4yrs 3mos) when it first flared up again. It sounded like Dr. Lee went cold turkey but recommended gradual withdrawal. I’m considering cold turkey. Is that a bad idea? Also, where is Dr. Lee located? I’m in Dallas, TX but would love to meet with him for further testing (similar to the oil example he provided).

IgE's are the ones involved with allergys, but you can also get patch tests and what not done for allergies

I believe he is located in Canada, not sure which city though.
i tried cold turkeying it but i couldnt. the withdrawal symptoms were too severe for me. try gradual reducing the medication.
