@@NovianLeVanMusicThat's really based from DICE to openly state that. I'd like to think it was the era in which those games were made. They had heart in them.
Bfbc2 was peak multiplayer for me and my friends in a squad. We all just sort of went separate ways with work and having families after that. It was 14 years ago today I bought the Vietnam dlc. They were great days that I miss :(
Same here, still in touch with one of the guys but yeah, I miss those days, did 100s of hours in multiplayer and played single player through more than once.
This is the game that put me on battlefield classic times I honestly loved everything about this game. Being a 92 baby this game brought back childhood memories
I started with Battlefield 2 but what really got me into Battlefield was the introduction of Destruction in BFBC & BC2! those games are still my favorites!
It's all relative. You're old compared to kids who have only played fortnite. I remember playing Halo before xbox live was a thing. I remember playing multiplayer Doom long before Halo was a thing. But I'm a youngin compared to anyone who grew up with pong on an Atari 2600.
I adore how this game made destruction the formost feature and then didn't skimp in the slightest on explosives. The devs basically said, "Blow it all up!"
I loved that whenever you were idle for a while Hags, Sweet and Sarge had full on random hilarious conversations in the background. They were pretty long too. It was a brilliant game.
Banter is some of my favorite things in games. Halo, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, BG3 all have great background banter. Dragon Age Origins particularly, I'm playing through it right now, and it has tons of great banter. I like picking different characters just to hear different banter.
this was my first shooter game that I got introduced to when I got a xbox 360 as a kid for christmas, lovely memories and by far my favourite battlefield along with bad company 2
This was the first FPS game I received as a gift along with my Xbox back in the day. I’m so glad it was this game, as it completely captivated me and I’ve played every Battlefield since. I discovered your channel with Battlefield 3, and I’ve been a fan ever since. This video brings back so many great memories, and I’m thankful you made it. Wishing everyone happy holidays and a great start to the new year!
The fact that they went from this, into what battlefield is now, is mindboggling. This is simply just peak gaming, never since have I played an online shooter that felt as - thought through - and simply - FUN -. Best implementation of destruction in a multiplayer game, ever.
TO THIS DAY, the sound design of this game and Bad Company 2 are THE BEST this series has ever hand in my opinion. It's so punchy and crispy. I'd love it if they went back to this type of sound design for newer battlefield titles.
I remember playing bad company 1 and being so hyped when the bad company 2 trailer came out. I also remember the feeling of how blown away I was when the bf3 trailer dropped as well. I miss those days dearly and have been starved for good battlefield games for far too long.
This was my first time trying battlefield. It was a free beta or something and the smiley face on the grenade stood out like it was a trademark or something, and the sounds of the grenade launcher shells was satisfying. The destruction was new and I had a blast.
What a blast of perfect nostalgia. Bad Company 1/2 were absolutely brilliant experiences. Nothing as satisfying as pulling the trigger on C4 in these games. Thanks!

Soon after you, Matimo, lvlcap all became content creators in the early days. I cannot remember who I found first though lol.
First game ever to make me specifically notice the audio. When they make u to blow up the barrells and the wall in the tutorial made me go "damn that sounds nice!"
in my opinion one of the best games ever made in the shooter genre. The story was awesome, it had a large world, it had great characters, the part where you got seperated you actually felt like YOU MISS THEM, the atmosphere was amazing. and the rest? it had destruction. the multiplayer was really good. the music was great, I literally listen to it TO THIS VERY DAY. I absolutely loved Bad Company & BC 2. We had a group of 30 friends that played BC2 on Xbox 360 for almost 9 years. One of the Best games ever. So sad they never continued with the series. It would be HUGE if that made BC 3 for modern consoles. Thank you for the amazing video. Definitely bringing me down nostalgia lane. 💚

This game was the sole reason I started playing FPS games. All the other games had super serious scenarios where you had limited amount of tactics available. Suddenly I was running around blasting everything just to steal some gold. It was awesome. I kept running the same out of the box tactics through all BF games untill 2042 came out (I refuse to call it a BF game). It was such a cool feature that it you'd die, the damaged buildings don't reset, just like in multiplayer. So even if you need 21 tries for a mission, it's evolving not resetting.
Bad company 2 is how I got into the series, still the one of the best times I ever had online. The Vietnam dlc was peak, I was fully immersed every time I played
Battlefield Bad company 2 was legit the first game that got me hooked to the series I remember going to GameStop and picking it brand new for my PS3 ❤ so many hours
Yeah, the XM8 was basically an H&K G36 with different cosmetics. Now I wish it were available in semi-auto from someone less expensive than TommyBuilt. "She...knows my name." That was a great moment in Sweetwater's character arc.
Absolutely loved BC1 on Xbox 360. Me and my buddy would go 50-0 in the AH-64D. You could fly two Apaches on the End of the Line map on Gold Rush, if you kept the starting one alive when the ATKers spawn moved. One time we stole the defenders Mi-28 helo and had 3 helos in the air. It was an absolute massacre rest of the game. Can’t believe that was 15 years ago.
This was my intro to BF series. Instantly hooked by the sandbox shooter and what made me fall in love with the real life XM8 and loath DoD for scrapping the development of it. Such a phenomenal game. Thanks for this playthrough Jack! I have to find my copies of BFBC 1 and 2 now
Bad company 2 multiplayer was perfect. A good MP match could leave an entire village completely flattened by the end. So well balanced and fun. Too bad they could never replicate that formula.
Started with battlefield 2 modern combat on ps2 where you could switch between soldiers pov, that was an interesting mechanic. Ever since been a fan if the franchise with bf3 being my favourite that I still play on PC. Love the content!
