If any game deserves to be called a masterpiece it’s this one. The visuals, music and setting are all unmatched. You can feel the passion and love from the devs at every moment.. don’t think we will see anything like this again.

Facts
Battlefield 1 was the first one I really got into, and in my opinion it's the best and most immersive Battlefield to date
This and 5 will were peak modern day BF at its best. people didn't appreciate. 😢

I dont know why but that pigeon mission gets me every time. Something so beautiful surrounded by absolute madness. They really killed it with this campaign

There was something truly different about the soldiers screaming being burned alive. They nailed the immersion to the point I was acc uncomfortable. Every layer of the game was executed perfectly.
@@Boodamondem 2042 had screams when on fire and it didn't fit the theme at all. 😂 Felt like they were copied from a gritty war game. That was the only time I was immersed in that game. So I'd use pyro nades all the time😅
"You are not expected to survive" That's got to be one of the most chilling (scary) ways to begin a game.

The opening cinematic remains one of the hardest hitting sequences of any shooter game
I remember the chills and goosebumps when I first read "You are not expected to survive" what a masterpiece.

Alright, either "BF2025 Full Game" is released on Jan 1st, or "Jackfrags is retiring from RUclips" is coming and I don't believe it can be anything else

@@chazhartwayne6493 BF 5 sucked. Not for one second did it feel like a WW2 game. BF1 on the other hand while not perfect felt like an immersive WW1 experience.

That “he never got older” and more final dialogue in Avanti Savoia gets me every time. I lost my brother two years prior to this game releasing.

I started playing mid 2021, finally got my brother into it to play with me, he had it before but only played the stories and a few rounds with me in 2021 wasn't a fan of so much going on. I told him he should get the premium while it was on sale in December and he loves it now.
3 and BF1 are the best period

This game has SUCH good art direction it's crazy. It's insane how genuinely beautiful video games can be. The introductory sequence, where you see everyone's names and date of birth, the framing device of war stories as a basis for the campaign, moments like the pigeon flight in the tank mission, the score and soundtrack of the entire game, even the individual maps are beautifully detailed and complex, not just bc of the photogrammetry, but the background choices they made, the lighting, the micro-narrative of Operations mode- it's all just so cool, so thoughtful, so in-depth. This game, for the singleplayer campaign, for the multiplayer, for the art, for the action, for the sound design, for everything, really deserves a fuckin 10/10 in my opinion
can't wait for the 2042 full game.

Just downloaded it again on pc last night, and I’m amazed at how immersive it is- somehow I forgot. I love bfv, but jeez bf1 is a piece of art. Rip the dice team that built this masterpiece
I just restarted playing BF1 again yesterday for the first time in years. This will forever be the best BF game in my opinion. Would you be willing to do an updated settings video and/or an updated best weapons for each class video? That'd be awesome! Great stuff as always, Jack!

Definitely my favourite campaign in the battlefield series. One of the most immersive ones they’ve done!
BF3 and 4 just felt like a graphics showcase. This feels like a well thought out story and game. Similar to Bad Company
That first sequence of dying soldiers and the following tank mission was the most immersive fun I’ve had playing a battlefield game.
I said it the day Battlefield 1 came out, and I will say it again now. The opening of this game is amazing. I can't even begin to describe how. The fact that the game just puts you right in it. No tutorial no warning. Just fight a battle you can not survive, amidst the rubble of the civilized world, and the bodies of the fallen. It gets to me every time.
Best BF of all time. Can´t beat it. The atmosphere, sounds, vision, gameplay.. its so good.
Still get goosebumps at the bf1 intro this game was incredible and I still play to this day. Its hard to wonder how the soldiers felt during this conflict and how they dealt with all the pain and suffering. God bless
1:02:30 will forever be a legendary moment from the game.

Never played the war stories but holy moly.. This just made you realise how brutal WW1 was.
This was the first video game I got play with internet when I was in middle school. Played off my phones Hotspot. I tell you what. It is still my favorite game

BF1 and RDR2 were the pinnacle of modern gaming. I wish I could erase my memory and play it for the first time again or go back in time :(
imagine a game where each time you die you become a different soldier like the bf1 tutorial mission, ever since i played that i wanted that to be a game mechanic so bad just think how cool the story would be and how interesting it would be to either keep everyone alive or end the game as the last man out of the platoon would be very badass

I remember I got the Xbox One S and it came with this game.. I connected it to my TV and me and my dad played this together for my birthday, it was so fun and immersive
My favorite battlefield, finally got my brother into it recently makes playing so much better then it already was. Love the visuals, the sounds etc, but in the tank mission there i noticed the german helmets with the spike on top, I never see that on multilayer
the skepticism i had when i first learned that the next battlefield was going to be ww1... and to my pleasant surprise it really worked. gotta agree the ambience/theme/styling whatever you want to call it has not been seen, not even close, in a multiplayer fps. really inspired stuff. thanks for the sp play, i never played through it
Same here but I was excited for the change in tone. Especially with that amazing trailer they released.
Then I got hyped when they announced a WW2 game next. But then I saw the trailer.... Never even bought it.

2. He's at a capture event..I forget where I saw it but I read that dice is done with cinematic trailers and are doing only gameplay trailers because they want us to know exactly what we are getting....I wish I remembered the source for that

I was never around for the prime years of this game. But once i had the chance to finally buy this game, i was hooked. I still am playing after 5 years since i got it
For all you wondering.. there is another Battlefield game coming soon, made by 4 developers one of which made Hardline and it's been in play test for over a year now. It'll have a public beta in the spring.

I remember first time seeing the 10 minutes of Bf1 gameplay. It blew me away as no other game did. I don’t think any other game will do the same.
Really enjoyed watching thru this play thru jack any chance you could do one of ghost recon wildlands and I think it’s borderlands too maybe with a team as it’s a coop campaign

the start of the campaign is crazy. when you see the names start popping up of people ur killing, that hits hard.

The score, the sound design, the atmosphere, the voice acting, were just second to none.
Amazing LOTR reference considering the writer was in WW1 and a lot of his writing was influenced by it.

This was the first BF game I played with my friends. A lot of us have disbanded but I still have one from that group that I still talk and play with to this day

This battlefield was waaaay better than the ones after it, takedowns, the weapons getting muddy, all the sounds and sights, everything was better.
2042 has the muddy weapon mechanic.. They copy pasted it 😅
IMO the best BF of all time. This will be a timeless game that really encapsulated them all and hit the mark.
