For a guy, getting older ain't so bad, other than the aches and pains. I'm a 58 year old recent widower, didn't start feeling old until my wife passed away last January. In less than two years we lost the two oldest generations in our family, now I'm one of the oldest surviving. That will make you feel old. Don't feel lonely though, other than missing the wife, life is generally good.

Hang in there man, for the sake of your remaining family. I know it feels painful to be alive when someone close to you dies. The pain is a reminder of how much we loved the people that passed away. Just don't give up on living as there are still reasons to live. Each of us has different reasons but if you are ever feeling depressed just remind yourself of your reasons for staying alive that always helped me.

When he was 16 he got into a scuffle with a cop and ended up breaking the cop's leg. He was given the choice of enlisting for WW2 or jail. He ended up a deacon in his church but he'd still cheat you at cards if you weren't paying attention. When he was 85 years old he was fishing at one of the San Francisco piers when some young meathead started causing trouble so this little old man quietly grabbed the guy by his collar and belt, raised him over his head and chucked him into the bay. They don't make them like that generation anymore. I miss those conversations.

Don`t be ashamed if you are doing a honest and hard work. I have had all kinds of jobs, and I am proud of every one of them.
About 30 years ago, after I got made redundant, suitable jobs were hard to come by, so my sister got me a job working in a care home for the mentally and physically handicapped. The work ranged from feeding people, cleaning up after them, bathing them to wiping their asses after pooing. I still have a visible scar on my arm from the time when the most severely handicapped woman there scratched me because she hated being touched but couldn't move without help and I was her specified carer.
The pay was awful, but it came with a free apartment (if I agreed to help in case of an out of hours fire type emergency), no bills, free meals, even if I wasn't working that day, and use of the company minibus (if not being used) as long as I replaced the fuel. It meant for 18 months, almost 100% of the money I got paid was spending money, although I saved most of it.
Some of my family, mocked me for doing it, asking how I could do such a job with a background in electronics, but to this day I think I learnt more about people and human nature from working there than any job I've had before or after. If asked I tell people, and I absolutely mean this, it was the most meaningful, rewarding job I have ever done.
I have never be ashamed of any job I've ever done, but my experience serving, and sticking up for people who most in society dismiss as irrelevant, taught me the meaning of humility far more than the definition in the dictionary.

Quick tip to you young men. If the woman is divorced because she thought her marriage was going nowhere, that is key word for she got tired and was not satisfied with what she was getting from him. In other words, if a man who was married to this woman for years could not please her, what makes you think you are going to please her now? The problem is that the older people get the more they know they like and the more picky they get with dating and the bad habits they've developed over the years, all this combined in woman or a man who's been run through or running through others in their 20's makes for a poor partner later in life because they think themselves better than they are, this is more prevalent in women though since men don't mind settling for less as long as the person is tolerable overall.

Ya, when you get old old, you'll still find 20 year olds attractive. Just because you get old doesn't mean your vision of reality changes. You don't find a 60 or 70 year old women attractive at 20, you don't find them attractive at 50 and you don't find them attractive at 60 or 70. Why younger women are attracted to older men is up for debate but I imagine it's not for their looks. As someone who used to be a young man many years ago I can assure you that older women most certainly find 20 year old men attractive and will do just about anything to try and acquire one.
That isn't quite the full picture though. If you're a single man it's correct, all men, married or not, can all look at 20 year old women and admire their beauty. However if you're married to a wonderful and you've been with her for since she was 25, you might not see the 25 year old any longer but you don't see a wrinkled old woman either. A lifetime of working, being and striving together makes the reality of old age fall away, you see the woman you've loved your entire lifetime and there are time when both of you will be 25 again.
But I agree with you, I've never looked at an old woman and thought - she's hot!

But if that woman of 20+ years decides to leave you and you have to go out and find another woman. I guarantee at 50 or 60 years old, you're not going to find old women attractive. I had a coworker who at 28-29 suddenly got super serious about the hunt. She often talked about the guy who really wanted to marry her in college to the point that they lived together for some amount of time. But she stated that she didn’t marry him because she discovered feminism in college (she’s not from the US) so it was off the table. She was planning to freeze her eggs so they could artificially inseminate them but ended up getting a form of stomach and then ovarian cancer before that could even be thought about. She did end up marrying but due to the cancer it was starting out in premature menopause. She was genuinely intelligent, teaching herself to read at the age of 3, but was also deeply into astrology and the occult. She did do all the things described in these videos though. She sure loved her cleanses though - social media, fruit, water, you name it. She was an interesting person and I wonder what has happened to her.

I agree a relationship isn't necessarily a path to happiness, but you weren't what these women are. You were married, I assume before having your children, and you had a family together. That your husband died and you decided raising your family was more important than a new relationship is not what these women are talking about. I don't know that you were right, but you made that choice and you understood what that would mean.
These women want their career, they want to sleep around, they deny their biology. At 30+ they expect men to do everything for them whilst giving men nothing in return, they don't see their lost youth, potential problems in having children, and high body counts as a reason men would ignore them. They have no positive values for a man interested in having a family in fact they are a high risk option for such a man, and yet they see themselves as having the same high value as 20 year old women.

In general, if a person uses "since" in relation to their age, it indicates they don't have the language knowledge to describe the passage of time, rather than a specific point in time, which suggests not using their native language.
I can speak a little German, but when I write in German I write like a brain damaged moron, in truth my spoken German isn't much better. I certainly can't convey complex concepts like the passage of time correctly. Do you speak a second language? Can you write in a second language? Is your grammar perfect in a second language?
From the perspective of an Englishman, I would say your American use of English is normal, and understandable, but your English language skills are less than perfect.
You failed to understand the progress of time. The woman writing the comment stated, being 30 with young twins to now being old, you used "teach" rather than "taught", present rather than past tense.
You failed to insert an apostrophe ( ' ) to indicate the missing "be" at the start of "because". Perhaps you wrote "cause" BECAUSE don't know the difference between "cause" and "because", which could be the CAUSE of your mistake.
And finally, whilst many consider the use of "ain't" as wrong, I'm ambivalent about it's use, but in this case it's simply an incorrect colloquial use, the correct word to use would have been "isn't".
Everyone has different levels of use, ability and understanding with regard to English language. I'm by no means an expert, and would never claim to be, but I like the language and believe I have an above average understanding of how it ought to be used. I don't often use that knowledge to belittle another's poor language skills because it open's oneself up to correction from others whose knowledge is greater than one's own.
Language is a tool of communication, like me, I'm sure you were perfectly able to understand the intended meaning of the post, yet instead of responding to it's meaning, you chose to belittle the person for not having the language skills in English you think you possess.

If you are a man and want kids then a 30+ woman isnt really on the plate as a choice. Its called a GERIATRIC PREGNANCY, its increasingly unsafe for her and the chance of complications (Autism, brain damage, deformities) for the child increase exponentially. If you are friends with any woman, make sure to remind her that when she hits 30 her dating pool is going to dwindle and disappear by 35.
It's also their age. If she's still single at that age, she either thinks she can still compete with younger women even though she has nothing to offer, or she's been jumping from men to men and has no idea now how to maintain a relationship longer than a year. There's no need to feel sorry for these women, they brought it on to themselves. Remember, the best indicator of if a relationship will last is these women's bodycount.

I really didn't date until i was thirty had some money, a good job, a car and a nice place to live. I would have liked to start dating in my twenties but most girls at that age weren't interested in someone who didn't have much money or time to spend with them and they were looking for chads. By the time I was forty I had big bucks my own home, but all the woman my age had high body counts (i.e. not wifey material) so I kept my money and just dated for fun. In earlier generations a man and women hooked up when they were young and both worked together to build a family. Now a days women are looking for a man who is already completed. Now I have 7 figure assets and six figure salaries, but I am not going to share it with some who didn't help me build it.

Boom! Same here, mid 30s high six figures and multi mill net worth. Why do i now have to just spoil and invest in one woman? Most women weren't looking to settle in their prime. America is backwards and why marriage rates are rapidly declining.
Have your fun, brothers. Travel the world and hookup with women across the globe. There are great women here in America but they are tough to find. Overseas women tend to be more traditional and nurturing. But there are no guarantees even overseas, so be sure you always protect your heart.
