This literally happened to a family friend and neighbor. Dude had separated, got back together so the kids they had together grew up in a normal family (I remember my parents telling him it was stupid). He bought a really nice house and within a month she’d called the cops claiming domestic violence and had him arrested at 3am. He wasn’t even home when it supposedly happened, he had gone to chat with my parents. Their kids also didn’t corroborate that a fight had happened and she had no signs of anything. He still had to leave, she kept living in the house he’d just bought a month ago and she also kept half of the sale income when it was sold. It’s insane how callous and manipulative she was and how biased the system was against him
I was married, 23 years. Raised 2 daughters. I put EVERYTHING I made, earned, was given, into the marriage. Kids are now grown, wife decides she doesn't want to be married anymore...at least to me. Been divorced 1.5 years. Making more, and saving more, than ever before. Plan to retire in ~5 years. I know she still has over 500k in debt (she bought/kept the house). I will NEVER remarry. It's been said by many men before me but I'll say it again. Marriage is a terrible deal for any man these days. I grew up in a more traditional household. My mom, and both grandmothers were housewives. The only time they ever worked was when there was a need for extra money, and it was temporary. When my guidance counselor asked me what I wanted to do for a career I said I wanted to be a housewife. I truly meant it because I loved the dynamic of our household. The men were loving leaders and the wives were loving helpers. Tons of rough times, but everyone got through it together.
I'm coming out of a 14 year long relationship (last 7 married). What you describe is all I want(ed). I was willing to forego a lot of what I wanted in life to provide for her, but doing so kept me away, and she wanted out. It wasn't working for either of us, tbh. But, I've had a lot of time to reflect, and I'm coming into my own. Absolutely!! A marriage should be like two halves of a whole coming together and each bringing with it different qualities. People forget that men and women were designed to play different roles to each other. It’s worked for thousands of years that way and yet people started messing with it under the guise of feminism and it’s led to a situation where we will likely see fewer and fewer successful marriages and children being raised since the dynamics just don’t fit together anymore.

The sad part as many women don’t understand they mold themselves around the men in their life. To me it sounds like you have become the very woman your man needs, and if anything ever happened to him you would never be able to mold yourself around a new man the same way. My daughter is waiting. I know quite a few young women who are waiting. They are attractive, educated, and godly. That's the crux. Their faith is the most important thing in their lives. They don't drink so they don't go to bars. I can say, though, that my girl has spoken with more than one man who has said something along these lines, "Now that I've been around, sowed my wild oats, I'm ready to get married and settle down with a nice girl." I think one of the reasons my man and I have lasted so long, 8 years, 2 months, 3 days🥰, is because we have never competed. Against each other or against others for each other. The thing with women acting like dudes is a turn-off...very true. Had a date with this girl, very feminine, beautiful, calm, and a bit shy. I want to tell you that I find it very strange to be so bothered by things like that, because I generally want people to feel comfortable being themselves. As long as they're not combative, accusatory and/or competitive in a mean-spirited way I generally don't care about things like gendered etiquette (though I would be mildly disgusted if anyone did that of either sex without saying so much as an 'excuse me'). But I have had my own feelings shift when I've discovered things about a girl such as them smoking weed or being self-described feminists, so I kind of get it.
I feel how the lady at 29:00 feels about loyalty about just standard human kindness. Like when I go into a store and an employee is nice to me, I talk about it like it was some great experience, or if I have a problem with something and I go and discuss it with an employee, I expect to get yelled at and told I'm the one in the wrong for daring to have a problem with anything that was done to me. If the employee even does the bare minimum and takes care of my concern without yelling at me or trying to turn the issue around on me, I feel like it's some GREAT experience. Being kind to other people in general should be the bare minimum.

It's tricky... In the past couples met at work, college, church, matchmaking through family and friends... But many environments where people used to interact, socialize and possibly enter a relationship are either dead or have become a toxic environment where hookup culture is high or risk of being labelled a creep/harassment charges. I really don't have a practical answer unfortunately. I will never get married, I have 3 cousins, 2 uncles, 3 of my friends that have really bad relationships with their woman. 2 of my cousins are currently paying alimony and they weren't even married, 1 uncle is divorced and my ex aunt took all of his money and properties. My other uncle and 2 of my friends are in really toxic relationships. I cannot trust women looking at how women behave nowdays and how laws are written to mostly benefit women.

This literally happened to a family friend and neighbor. Dude had separated, got back together so the kids they had together grew up in a normal family (I remember my parents telling him it was stupid). He bought a really nice house and within a month she’d called the cops claiming domestic violence and had him arrested at 3am. He wasn’t even home when it supposedly happened, he had gone to chat with my parents. Their kids also didn’t corroborate that a fight had happened and she had no signs of anything. He still had to leave, she kept living in the house he’d just bought a month ago and she also kept half of the sale income when it was sold. It’s insane how callous and manipulative she was and how biased the system was against him
She was a despicable wretch. The legal system is completely corrupt; it f**ks men over and flavors women 95% of the time even if she’s trash.
I was married, 23 years. Raised 2 daughters. I put EVERYTHING I made, earned, was given, into the marriage. Kids are now grown, wife decides she doesn't want to be married anymore...at least to me. Been divorced 1.5 years. Making more, and saving more, than ever before. Plan to retire in ~5 years. I know she still has over 500k in debt (she bought/kept the house). I will NEVER remarry. It's been said by many men before me but I'll say it again. Marriage is a terrible deal for any man these days. There is virtually no upside and only pain, debt, disrespect and loneliness on the other side. Stay single. Let these women get exactly what they wanted. Equality. I grew up in a more traditional household. My mom, and both grandmothers were housewives. The only time they ever worked was when there was a need for extra money, and it was temporary. When my guidance counselor asked me what I wanted to do for a career I said I wanted to be a housewife. I truly meant it because I loved the dynamic of our household. The men were loving leaders and the wives were loving helpers. Tons of rough times, but everyone got through it together.

Absolutely!! A marriage should be like two halves of a whole coming together and each bringing with it different qualities. People forget that men and women were designed to play different roles to each other. It’s worked for thousands of years that way and yet people started messing with it under the guise of feminism and it’s led to a situation where we will likely see fewer and fewer successful marriages and children being raised since the dynamics just don’t fit together anymore.

The sad part as many women don’t understand they mold themselves around the men in their life. To me it sounds like you have become the very woman your man needs, and if anything ever happened to him you would never be able to mold yourself around a new man the same way. My daughter is waiting. I know quite a few young women who are waiting. They are attractive, educated, and godly. That's the crux. Their faith is the most important thing in their lives. They don't drink so they don't go to bars. I can say, though, that my girl has spoken with more than one man who has said something along these lines, "Now that I've been around, sowed my wild oats, I'm ready to get married and settle down with a nice girl." I highly recommend marriage. I’ve only done it once, and that was 40 years ago, though. There are adjustments, and you have to be able to compromise and make adjustments, but once you do, it’s great! Of course you have to find a great person.

Just waited till the date ended acting as normal as I could and going home I still couldn't wrap my head around what the F happened. Cut all contact after.

The thing is, just because something is a normal bodily function doesn't mean you have to satisfy that urge the moment you feel it. You risk embarrassing yourself and the people around you. Just like you, hopefully, don't crouch in the middle of the street for number two when you feel like it. It is called manners and reading the environment to decide if it's inappropriate. Just a quick tip, when you apologise to a guy as a woman you don't say it the way a man would say it like: "Ah man, sorry about that.", "Dude, so sorry...", "Bruh, didn't mean to, sorry." or an arbitrary of those. You act and speak femininely because, in other words, it gives the guy an "ick" as they call it. @runirox6841 As a woman who had all brothers and can burp like a frat boy, we CAN control the intensity of such functions! There is a polite way to burp as no, one can't control that like one can a fart, but one can control from flexing the strength of their diaphragm in public on a first date! I would never do that on a first date! And if it bothered my man for me to act like that, I'd always be polite about it around him.

I want to tell you that I find it very strange to be so bothered by things like that, because I generally want people to feel comfortable being themselves. As long as they're not combative, accusatory and/or competitive in a mean-spirited way I generally don't care about things like gendered etiquette (though I would be mildly disgusted if anyone did that of either sex without saying so much as an 'excuse me').
But I have had my own feelings shift when I've discovered things about a girl such as them smoking weed or being self-described feminists, so I kind of get it.
I feel how the lady at 29:00 feels about loyalty about just standard human kindness. Like when I go into a store and an employee is nice to me, I talk about it like it was some great experience, or if I have a problem with something and I go and discuss it with an employee, I expect to get yelled at and told I'm the one in the wrong for daring to have a problem with anything that was done to me. If the employee even does the bare minimum and takes care of my concern without yelling at me or trying to turn the issue around on me, I feel like it's some GREAT experience. Being kind to other people in general should be the bare minimum.
I'm 💯 a traditional woman. I didnt realize it until I started seeing how most women treat their husbands these days. I was shocked. Also i could never ever be with one of these beta males. @snorttroll4379 😂 idk I met my husband at 17 he was 19 we were friends for a while and then off and on dating for a while then we moved in together it got really serious he just was always a gentleman and I wanted to make him happy for all the sweet things he did and still does for me. Anyways eventually, I had a "surprise" pregnancy. He stuck around, and he said he loved me. I didn't know for sure how it would go, but he worked his ass off 2 jobs while I was pregnant saving money, and we fell even more in love after our daughter came. Then he proposed and we got married. It wasn't the traditional way, but it worked for us. we are still together, and our daughter is almost 19. We are best friends and have a great relationship. I think part was luck really. I'm just happy that's all I know

An issue I find with society is there are no checks and balances. It keeps striving forward without looking back and saying ohhh that was not a good time in human history. I will never get married, I have 3 cousins, 2 uncles, 3 of my friends that have really bad relationships with their woman. 2 of my cousins are currently paying alimony and they weren't even married, 1 uncle is divorced and my ex aunt took all of his money and properties. My other uncle and 2 of my friends are in really toxic relationships. I cannot trust women looking at how women behave nowdays and how laws are written to mostly benefit women.
