Why do I cry every time I listen to the Moody Blues? I’m a 38 year old man, I saw them twice and cried most of the shows. Maybe cause my mom raised me on them and it connects me so deeply to a warm childhood. Either way much love.
This is my favourite song of The Moody Blues. It brings back memories. I lost my wife 6 weeks ago and we both loved this song, the melody, especially the words. It means a lot. Thank you
I would lay for hours in front of my dad’s stereo and listen to the moodies.
They were also the first concert I ever saw, 1972 Madison Square Garden. Could not afford decent seats, actually sat behind the stage and it was magical.
My deepest condolences, I lost my wife 10 years ago on September 26th. It never leaves you. The grief does lessen with time, but even after 10 years, the tears can flow at times
Malcolm, my brother who passed away in 2010 at the age of 60, was a HUGE fan of the Moody's. I always tear up when I hear a Moody's song. They always make me think of him.
@@warrenermish1454 good sound there? I was fortunate to see them @ Red Rocks twice. 2 great memories.
Let's all on October 14th wish Justin a very Happy Birthday!
I was about 10 years old when my older brother purchased Seventh Sojourn. We both had sleeping areas in our basement and every night when he went to bed he would go to sleep by that album. I don’t think he ever realized that I was listening and that he was shaping my musical future. The Moody Blues have been an emotional anchor for me ever since. What has always amazed me is the lyrics-poetry that they wrote at such a young age. Wisdom beyond their years. I pray that when the time comes and this life is over, that I can truly get to know you in the next. God’s peace be with you!
" His music could charm the wild animals of the forest and even streams would pause and trees bend a little closer to hear his sublime singing." ❤️ Thank you, Justin.
its the music God listens too!
Wonderful analogy............
Pamela Baker so well said and very true.😊
@@gillbrown3523 when your right, your right!
she put that so eloquently
@@signal12hvac 👏👏👏👏👏
I have decided that there is Baby Boomers who fall in the 1946 to 1964 category and that's it. Then, there is the Baby Boomers who immersed themselves in the wonderful music we now call Classic Rock. I call these folks Classic Boomers. One of the rights to passage for this title is when one discovers the wonderful music of The Moody Blues. Their music helped us find our souls again. It gave us direction and more importantly hope. After playing our 33 1/3 vinyl records several times we looked around and saw a new world. Our world. Thanks Justin, you especially got inside us and taught us to give just a little bit more, take a little bit less. Peace!
Justin, ur an absolute dreamboat then now and forever 😩🥰🥰🥰
Justin, I went to the Moody Blues concert when I was stationed in Germany. I was blown away then and continue today. Your voice is spectacular and is the same as it was in 1972 when I seen you in concert. The Moody Blues will always be my most favorite band.
Give just a little bit more... Take a little bit less from each other tonight.... So deep these words... You can feel every nuance!!
❤️ 🎶🎤🎧❤️... God bless you Justin!!🙏❣️
this is exactly why i have been a mega fan of him and the entire Moodies group since 1968
Always been one of my favorites! I love Tuesday afternoons! I can’t wait til the day we meet again in person! Thank you Justin! ❤️
Beautiful! Thank you for All your music!!
Sunday Mass and Tuesday Afternoons have become my religion now! Powerful messages! Can't miss them....
One of my favourites of Justin’s songs but then I have so many favourites.💕💕
Beautiful song! I love the harmonies and Karmen playing the harmonica!! ♡
Missed seeing u in 2020 but will be there in 2021- the best 🎉
68 a good year, the year I left school was the best day
Simply, just amazing! Thank you, Mr. Hayward!
Yet another musical masterpiece by the master artist-Justin! Thank you for these special Tuesday Afternoon gifts of music, Justin!
You, your voice and music are one of God's gifts to humanity.
I have begun to look forward to your Tuesday Afternoon video posts! Thank you Justin Hayward, such a beautiful song!
I simply love this song. It is beautiful but the words warn that he will be leaving. He watches her sleeping peacefully not knowing that things are going to change. It is another sad song. He knows what he is going to do or thinking of what he wants to do. When Justin performs this tune on stage, I miss not hearing the entire song. It is one of my favorites along side Are you Sitting Comfortably and naturally Nights and Ride My Seesaw. We went and saw Justin a year ago yesterday in Annapolis, Maryland. Oh how I miss seeing him at least once a year. He wrote songs that one never tires of, and, if you are lucky enough to catch a tune on one of these stations like Classic Vinyl or Deep Tracks, if someone is in the car with me, I tell them to hush, because one of my favorite songs of all time by JustinHayward is being played....as if I had not heard it in weeks, which is not true. I listen to a CD I put together in my car of the Moodies and Justin's live tour CD. I loved his voice in his younger years and I love his voice in his maturing age. I simply love Justin Hayward as do so many other fans. The Moodies' music to me will always be "in."
Delores Pumphrey Thanks for posting your views. I, too, love this song but I always thought that he was saying he wasn’t worthy of her love or not the man she thought (if only you knew). The beauty of Justin’s lyrics is that they can be read differently. Great music that has been in our lives so long!
I shared this song with a young woman who lives in Ukraine. She’s 33, but responded with deep gratitude. She said she loves that style of music, but prefers to listen to it alone. When I sent another video, she told me she spent the previous days listening to all of the Moody Blues music she could find. I felt like a wise sage, sharing secrets to happiness in life.
One of my favorites too....but with the Moodies, there are so many...
Never Comes the Day takes me back to my early high school years! Thanks, Justin.
First band I ever saw live in 1974, the Moody Blues. Unreal, how one song can stir up such great memories.
And emotions. I’ve been to 4 Blues concerts’69, ‘78, ‘88 and 2012 and the emotion I get every time from them especially from John and Justin is just pure natural immortality! I have to see them again before it’s too late!
Love this song. Love Justin. Love the Moody Blues - for years and years!
One of my favorite Moody Blues’ songs. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for the beautiful music and words.
After having listened to the whole Tuesday Afternoon series so far, (and I am grateful for that), and of course all the Moody Blues records all these years, I must say that Mrs Julie Ragins is perhaps the best 2nd voice you ever had.
Such an amazing song and a fantastic performance to showcase it.

For me this is one of your very best songs. The Moody Blues version.is so well recorded. It should been a big big hit if released as a single.
This is a great song and is currently one of my favorite Moody Blues songs. This is a really good version. On the album version I love John's bass as it really helps drive the fast section of this wonderful song.
One of my favorite songs, but who can choose any favorites when they are all sublime? Love Justin and the Moodies forever!
If I had known about that tour I would have been there!❤️❤️thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this beautiful song
I have no favorites, it's like picking your favorite child. I have always wanted more. Thanks for continuing to share! I miss all of you so much! I love that you still share with us, things look like they're easing, but the stress really is still with us and deepening! This helps! Thank you! Wishing you and yours well!
I just love this song, Justin; your voice is still so very beautiful. An eternal troubadour!
Ahhh, another Beautiful Classic!
We all have to look into the darkness that resides in all our hearts....bringing that into the light is the stuff of magic! Thanks for the magic Justin! :)
Really enjoyed this performance...great tune off a Fab album..my goodness..that goes way back...
Thanks Justin for all your great music over the years. You've truly made this world a better place.
I’ve always loved it, too.
We alone will be alright, in the end. What a great line. Never comes the day has always been a favorite. You are such a teriffic story teller. Thanks for Tuesday Afternoons, I look forward to them.
Great song, amazing really. And a fine performance. Love these Tuesday Afternoon productions.
The songs I know...and the songs I'm hearing for the very first time. Justin begins to sing...and every effin' time I whisper to myself: "Jeez! He's got a great voice." Cheers.
Beautiful song, still as wonderful as the first time I heard years ago now and still as fresh as ever. Thank you Justin
This is one of my top 5 favorite Moody Blues songs. There are so many good memories attached to this tune for me. Love it and you!💕
Sublime, relaxing and magical. :) Your team really compliments you as the star you are....stay safe!!!!!!!

It's such a thrill to hear this live. Justin, your voice is as magnificent and moving as it was the first day I heard it! Thank you!
This has always been one of my favorites and I have a LOT of favorites. Thank you, Justin.
So nice. From an old fan from the 70's. I was at your show in Montreal city in the 70's. One of the great show I attended. Thank you for your music.
Such a beautiful song and legendary man, Justin Hayward !
It contrasts so much to today's harsh times! Great song!
One of my all time favorites! Thanks Justin!!!
The Moody Blues are second only to the Beatles as the greatest band that ever existed. Thank you Moodies for creating such a great catalog of music over the years. Your music will live on forever. :-)
Many thanks Justin!
This song is so beautifully done. ❤
Wow! I met In the wildest dream in 1979, exactly 10 years after its release. I was a teenager. Right from the start, that wonderful trip with In the beggining. Oh my God! It was love at first hearing.
And so it went on side A.
My favorite was Dear Diary.
But when side B came and Never comes the day started ... Wow! How wonderful!! I had to hear it again, and again, and again, lol. And the journey continued, until reaching the last track, Have you heard (Part 2). And so, I became a fan. And I still am today.
God bless you, Justin, for sharing these gems with us.
Always trying to find the accurate words ....but there just isnt...Moodies are and always
been beyond description....they are Timeless and in their own Universe as it should be!!
Love Moodies forever,,,,my fav of ALL time since 1971!!!!!! xxx tysm!!!
Thank you Justin for these super Tuesdays where we can mentally escape into fantasy from reality upon whence it came. ✌✌🇬🇧🇬🇧
It's so nice to see Justin's smile in 2:15 , it's so genuine! You can see he's still very passionate about his work and I'm glad for it! Here's to many more years of great Justin Hayward concerts (and hopefully new music from him as well, hehe) 💙
One of my favorite songs from Mr Hayward. Lots of my time in the lab doing research and listen to this when things gets tough.
Justin, I so appreciate your focus on this channel. You are what the spiritual community would call an awakened soul. You’re an early Indigo child. You came to bring the world a message to aid in raising the vibration of the collective consciousness as we prepare for our Ascension into the 5th Dimension. Thank you for aiding me in raising my frequency just by listening to your music and your deep, deep lyrics. You understood so much at such a young age. Getting this message of love 💕 out to whoever is willing to listen has truly been your life’s mission, which you have said you will continue to do til the day you die. May you be blessed to be with us right up to the change. I would very much like to get to know you there.
I recently had the opportunity to introduce yet another generation to DOFP to calm a fussy 7 month old baby. I put on the Deluxe Version that plays for over two hours and she was so fascinated with the changing tempos, she quieted right down and eventually fell asleep. She’s a natural at recognizing good music. How joyful to watch yet another generation be fascinated with your insightful music! 🎉🙏💝 Blessed be! 🎉
Justin Hayward still has it his music is outstanding and Amazing 😉 Thank you for your Tuesday Afternoon Music.
Stunning, intoxicating song. ❤️
I'm glad you aren't disappearing in the grey mists of the morning.
Justin, you were busy in Bayswater! “Never Comes The Day” is a beautiful song written in the bay window. We alone will be alright, in the end. 🎸🎶🎧
You know it's true. We all know that it's true, greatness. I like the harmonica in it. Wow, so many great songs.
For money, this is far and away the most underrated Moody Blues song, quite possibly their best.
Still has it after all these years...must have lived a clean and healthy lifestyle.
Geat to see you, great music from the late 60s....
Love that song. Beautiful sentiment. The young girl with the ponytail, not only a an impressive flautist but handy on the harmonica too.
Another one of my Moodies/Justin faves! Thank you, Justin!💙
Such a classy song, one of so many, beautifully performed again, albeit in a shortened version. Thank you, thank you.
I absolutely adore your music. Thanks for sharing with us.

Checked off my bucket list when I saw Justin Hayward perform live with this group last year at Harris Center in Folsom, CA! Thank you, Justin, for posting this video to see this lovely performance up close & personal! 💚
I could never choose a favorite MB song. But if some were to force me to, this would surely be a finalist.
Wow. At his age to sound that good. Incredible!!!
I didn’t know Karmen played harmonica so well! I do t recall if they did this song at Jus’ solo shows in Minnesota. Good job. 🥰 Love looking forward to this video cat every week. 🍁🌻🐹
Love this Threshold song, it must be a favourite of mine on the album.
"If only you knew whats inside of me now," the voice tone changes always gets to me..and you've never lost the feel of this song, Justin, a lovely solo performance. 🎵🎶🎵💕🌟
This guy has aged like fine wine wow. Very rare in the music industry vocally
Beautiful performance, the guitars are woven together superbly.
Thank you for doing this🥰
This song got me through some really hard times.
The Moodies hooked me up with life. Thanks Justin.
I can't imagine the joy it must bring to these young musicians to be working with a musical genius. And they are all worthy! Simply mesmerizing!
Beautiful song, incredible lyrics, perfection again Justin♥️
Definitely one of my favorites and I love Julie’s interplay vocals with you. Never get tired of this classic tune.
So nice. Thank you.
