"Just" never gets old to see/hear such beautiful songs sung by their gifted composer. Justin Hayward remains head and shoulders above the singer/songwriters out of the classic rock era (and beyond, truthfully). One of my absolute favorites of his ballads...and as they all seem to do--it passes the test of time. 💙🎶 TY for posting such wonderful videos!

Each time these sessions are posted, I think, "Oh, that's my favorite MB song". Then the next one plays and again I think the same. So I must deduce that EVERY MB song, is my favorite song.
I love this song. Such mature lyrics from a very young man, as you were when you composed it. This version of it, just you and your guitar, is especially beautiful.
I can't get this song out of my head, just discovered it!!! This and "lovely to see you" are playing in a constant loop in my head right now.... And "gypsy'...and "Tuesday afternoon"....ok I'm swamped with so many great songs that I am hopelessly lost in an internet rabbit hole. Lol. I think I read that Justin is on tour in the UK now (2022). I may have to fly over so I can see this legend perform live 🤘😁🤘

I was reading an article with comments from you and John. I find whatever you talk about Justin, I am very much interested. I read where you and the Moodies went on an 18 month tour, and that was around late 60s. I could not imagine being without my man for so long, especially when we both were young. But a talented person such as you, with a beautiful heart and soul who writes such lovely songs fans around the world were glad you were touring. I love this song; however, when I hear it, I always wonder what it was you were hiding from the gal that she would not be happy with. Inquisitive minds would like to know. Your songwriting pulls the listener right into the song, especially these ballads. The Moodies were unique and offered a style of playing and singing that set the Moodies apart from other bands then and even now. Your music is ingrained into my heart and soul. I cannot go a day without listening to your lovely voice and tuning into your strumming your guitar. Thank you. We so appreciate hearing from you on Fridays. You will be touring soon in my country.
