  • Prusa's first move into the smaller COREXY market with the CORE One, based off the MK4S platform which is part of an upgrade path, this printer looks to be the latest and greatest from Team Orange, but does it stack up?? Let's find out!

Featuring an enclosed chamber and CoreXY design, it combines high-speed printing and maximum print quality with a large 250×220×270mm print area. The Prusa CORE One takes up 50% less space than the MK4S inside an enclosure, yet it delivers an impressive 30% increase in print volume. The chamber is as compact as possible, with a cleverly designed recess on each side to minimize its volume. This allows the chamber to quickly reach higher temperatures (up to 55°C), enabling you to print ASA, ABS, PC, PA (Nylons), and other advanced materials smoothly, without warping. The automatic ventilation system and active temperature control enable flawless printing of PLA - even with the door completely closed!

I don't see why not! Prusa kits often are really easy though, just follow the directions

Interesting video, I missed it live so had to do a re-watch and im glad i did. Looks like an interesting product if you already have a prusa to upgrade. I was really hoping for something that would make me actually consider buying a prusa again but I cannot see anything that would make me buy a new one over many of the other options out there.
From the photos on their website it looks like they have made the same mistake a few other companies have made with corexy machines. Checkout the idlers on the x gantry, If they are smooth idlers then that could well be a big part of the issue in regards vfa's. GT belts running over smooth idlers is never a great idea. I would expect higher speeds to better than lower speeds. if this is running at 200mm/s+ and giving that kind of vfa then somethings not right.
In regards to noise, those sheet metal panels are going to be resonating a fair amount. I recently installed sheet metal enclosure panels on a printer and it really exagerated everything. The solution was to install a small layer of accoustic insulation (fire retardent). this seriously cut it down.

How is the print quality comparing to X1C? :)

seems on par, need to get it off my table to verify though. Should I put it next to the X1C just to let them fight it out??

At least for us it's because we were on the list as we assisted with the mk4s launch. This is common

@ Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to be rude. Given recent events, I’d be promoting the HELL out it! I’ve been printing since 2013, have MANY printers, including a Bambu. LOVED my Bambu. Was hoping for something from them in the 350mm plus range to go along with my Voron(350mm). Now, I’ll start shopping around. Prusa is on my radar. Love your content BTW!
