So what speaker do you play through? I've been using an Alto Ts408 to practice with my band and it's loud enough for guitar and vocals, but getting a good bass volume from it causes distortion. Should I just buy larger PA speakers, and if so should I get 12" or 15"? Orrr do I need to get a sub for my current speaker, which I could eventually use with my bigger speakers that I will get down the line anyways?
I enjoyed watching your video. As a bass player, I tried many different fx boards and gave up after a few weeks. I recently bougth the Pod Go and see a lot of potential in the unit. The only thing I am struggeling with is : if you buy a very good amp, why would you choose in de the Pod Go setup for another amp with different specs ? I am just looking for a good sound and no amp modulation etc ... I am an 80ties guy, so funk, slapping, octaves is my fun part of the bass. Do you have any recommendations how to setup the Pod Go for this kind of music ? Thanks in advance.
@@GearStuffandThings great idea - al lot of bass musicians struggle with fx/tones and stick to the stomp boxes. I will share it with my friends/colleages
This was phenomenal! Please do more bass videos when you get time.
Thanks Andrew, Stoked you dig it and I will do more :)
As a bassist, I use the PodGo for recording/live and I greatly appreciate this video!
Awesome! So happy you enjoyed it. PodGo is a great tool! Cheers
Have you recorded with it professionally? My band is going into the studio soon and I'm thinking of just using my POD GO straight to di
thank you!!!
@@delfinrodriguez9471 hey! Thank you for watching.
Thanks a lot! This video pushed me into buying one!
Hey! So happy to help! You’ll love it
That was really helpful! I'm not primarily a bass player, so a lot of this is a mystery to me. This will up my bass game a lot!
not sure if its been discussed below, but there is a pad. I think it might be in the global controls.
You’re correct.

Could you share this preset?
Unfortunately not. I no longer have a PodGo

Maybe I’ll do a video on funk or 80’s bass tones.
I would tinker with each amp in PodGo until you find the one that fits your style

One thing I'm not keen on is the IRs. I've downloaded some 3rd party ones and just not keen on them. Much prefer just using an amp only to desk
This should work also to emulate Amos Williams from tesseract right?
No clue
Where can i get the IR from? would be great if someone could help me with a link
Shoot me an email GearStuffandthings@gmail.com I’ll send you some
Are you using the 4 cable method??
is this preset one of the podgo preset packs on the site?
I don’t believe so.
