This was really helpful. I actually added a pitch shifter set to low octacve at 40% to the chain, so we can play Sledgehammer and it worked really well. I play mostly guitar in my band and bass on a few songs to cover when our bass player is leading songs. I actually made one "bass preset" with 4 snapshots for different variations. One with very very light chorus, one with heavier chorus. then the same settings but with the low octave. then I can unplug the guitar and plug the bass quickly in a gig. It works quite well
Really appreciate this video! I watched it several times, following exactly how you set it up (and then adjusted to personal settings)! Just got the Pod yesterday so this was super helpful in learning how to create custom presets. Someone already mentioned it, but I, too will be using this tone for my Church! Big thanks!
Thank you for the Video... Pro Audio Tip: Puttting your HPF at 50Hz is cutting the low "E" note off (41.5 Hz). The "F" note has a FR at 55Hz so that is ok, but you are killing some of your low "E" energy.
I have been trying to find out if it had the zero amp di and no one could tell me! I am buying one of these now! I use a compressor I front of the DI and and eq and It sounds great. Would love to know if this has the nobles as well!
I play guitar on my band and switch to bass for songs that our bass player sings. In that setting the only solution is to go straight to the PA and your sound comes out of the monitors or IEMs - whatever you are using. An Amp would be useless because the bass preset would not be good out of a guitar amp and viceversa. If you want to use an Amp then you cant switch between guitar and bass tones. Notice I said "would not be good". I know there are some amps out there that claim they can do both. They are just not great at both and with the POD already simulated bass tone, well it is simply not good
@@unodeldim3610 you can split the signal. Use the amp out and plug straight to the amp just to have stage volume. Just remember to set the amp out setting to be pre-IR or pre-cab. And the other out is straight to the mixer for IEMs and PA speakers. You’d have a mix of simulated bass cabs and the actual bass cab on stage.
If you’re going to connect to a combo amp there are a few ways to connect to it. 1. Use the Pod Go as a pedal board and turn off the amp and cab sim then connect to the input of the combo amp. 2. Use the Pod Go preamp and turn off the cab sim then connect to the FX return of the combo amp. 3. Use the Pod Go preamp on top of the combo amp preamp. Turn off the cab sim and connect to the combo amp’s input. 4. Use the 4 cable method and use the fx loop of the Pod Go and combo amp. Turn off the cab sim.

I don't even own this pedal but I loved the way you sculpted your tone.
Thank you! It’s a lot of trial and error 😁

Thanks for the tip! I’ll keep that in mind in my future mixes. 👍
Great bass tone bud, appreciate the content and looking forward to trying this out!
Thanks! I’m glad it helped. 🙂
Hey man, great job with the video it was very insightful and helpful.
Thank you! I’m glad it helped you in some way. 🙂

Yes, there is a ZeroAmp Bass DI on the PodGo. I think this is on the helix models, hx models, and the PodGo. I don’t think there’s a Noble DI though.
Thank you! Nice video! Your video is easy to understand and helpful :-)

Thanks for the info. I have a gig in a weeks time and didn’t have a bass amp. How do you go about monitoring yourself on stage?
I usually rely on the amp on-stage but I think you can connect the pod go to a mixer and have an IEM for monitoring.

In case I want to play through a bass combo amplifier do I have to turn off the Amp and cab?

Nice bro. I currently using this for worship music
Thanks! The Pod Go is such a good investment for musicians and a nice entry into amp modeling.
Great video man!
Thank you!
