As a hybrid, someone with a black American mother and Igbo Nigerian father, someone brought up and raised solely around my mother's people, I can attest that black Americans have culture. The food, the energy, the kindness and loyalty. Our smiles and the love that we generate and radiate. No wonder folks try to say Black peope have no culture, because looking at the forest through the trees, Black Americans are a blessed people.
As a believer, the Bible calls me to honor my mother and father. People from the continent try to tell me that I'm Nigerian just because my father is, but that hasn't felt right to just call me a Nigerian. And maybe i'm not FBA, but I love and value both sides of my people. So I am a Black African American, and right now, Imma stand by my black people.

We're the ones who've gotten 'violently bullied' the most, so now these wimps around the world, even some of our own, try to hop on the bully train cause they wanna try to fit in.
Yet, as a 'Black world traveler' myself, I can't help but notice how many people try to be like us. Like others have said, our culture has just become too mainstream. And since White people control the media, everybody is "allowed" to claim it or interpret it how they want to smh. Yet nobody can do soul music like us and nobody can make soul food like us, which are very unique to our people in the US because WE'RE the culture. Anyone else outside of the "Red Indians" on the west side are just outsiders who might have some influence from our people.
Everywhere I go, I try to teach people about who we really are, cause I know they've been lied to and I know I might be the last Black American they talk to. I talked to a Dutch guy a few months ago and was showing him all the things our people have invented cause he asked and said he's never really heard of anything but would like to know. I also showed him how silly it is to just call us all 'Black'. I said "can you imagine if Europeans, some Middle Easterns, and north-east Asians were all grouped into all being just 'White'?"... The main hard part is telling people how unrealistic or exaggerated the slave trade story is. I remember going over it in African history college courses, and I swear it felt like a pause in history that didn't fully make sense when you use common sense and look at the details. This is somehow "our story" but not even WE can question it??...
In my opinion the main thing we're missing is our ancestors' languages, even though we got some uniqueness in how we speak English that people got a love-hate relationship with. Languages are like the final key to one's heritage. So if you know who you are, please learn your people's languages and pass them down.

You just saw it in New York where you had African migrants referring to themselves as "Blks" at a Council Meeting complaining they're being treated unfairly & demanding they get green cards and work permits.
What's happening is they're trying to Caribbean & African-ize Foundational Black America's heritage because they're Blks & reap the benefits off our legacy-lineage while saying you don't have no Culture.

I very distinctly remember my grandmother showing me and my siblings pictures of our native great grandparents with their long straight jet black hair and high cheek bones. She drilled this into us and honestly I had to be a toddler, but I remember it like it was yesterday! All of my aunts and uncles would share family history; it was oral history back then, but I really wish I had written these things down. Most of my elder family members are gone on.
Also I remember when we used to tell friends that our ancestry was Indian, they would dispute us and say we were disowning our blackness. Pretty soon many of us who knew our ancestry were shamed into not saying it anymore. So sad!

He was comparing the physical similarities between them and India. Black people here in the States have gotten so caught up in bull shit lies. They'll believe anything that sounds good. There is more evidence of natives history here. Than there is from Black people claiming to be native Indian. Us looking different from there is going to vary, due to mixing, primarily eith Europeans. And even many of us look like western Africans. And. Africans Black people have the widest variation looks of any humans on the planet. And DNA proves the opposite, showing that our ancestors are from Africa. Our DNA doesn't show something uniquely different, ike a an Asian for example. DNA shows that they're Asian. We don't have that. Never had. Abd never will. We're a mixture due to slavery. We're no different looking, physically than from a Black British, as an example.

Most people confuse ancient culture and modern-day Culture , yes Some African/Black Americans may have lost their Ancient culture/cultural practices but they also created a new culture for themselves . Black American have culture , it may not be as old as Ancients cultures but it is still culture . For instance in Africa(Southern Africa ) it is a custom for a man to pay dowry when he is getting married and in America black people jump over a broom to solidify the marriage and both of these practices can be considered culture .SO PLEASE STOP SAYING BLACK AMERICANS DON'TT HAVE CULTURE JUST BECAUSE IT IS DIFFERENT FROM YOURS

I appreciate some things you are saying.
What do you mean the red men/women are Native Americans? The people who are called Native Americans are the Siberians who are Eurasians and they are not Indigenous to Turtle Island. Native means you're born wherever you were born which means anyone can be native. So what are you saying that there are two different Indigenous peoples on Turtle Island? How so? You keep saying black when we're not black. Black/White is a social construct. Black is at the bottom and White is at the top of this foreign government's social status.
We're the Copper Colored people and that includes red as well.

Well my mom met her great grandmother who she described as red toned women which she had a dark tone. All native Americans aren't siberians. Many so called natives are aboriginal brown skinned. I've met many native and they are brown. Latin Americans are all indigenous with European blood mix. I know who I am. I was speaking for my family.i didn't get my information from a text book. I've had encounters with them. Siberians and most natives look nothing alike

We are the true Israelites.
