The Canadian version is a USDM version thats sold in Canada. Its the same.
How close is in comparison with VF48 and 16G turbo. I know the VF48 turbo has a weak wastegate that opens too soon but when you change it to external it’s spools harder,
the jdm tdo5 u have in the video after mods is the waste gate size shown it the video good or will it need to be ported like the one on the moded tdo4 in the vid ??

TF rear, shaft and CHRA but TD04H comp housing with a 15T billet... I need the quick spool bc I'm running it on a small (2.8l) diesel...

I run a CNC lathe and it's totally messing me up watching the turbo spinning in the cuck not symmetrical, I get that your indicating the ID that your opening up and its the housing that's not symmetrical, just weird to watch. Do you have to pull out the impeller prior to machining?

So i have 2015 wrx and im on a stage 2 cobb accessport tune so will it be safe too have a 20g turbo or what gauge is safe? I need help I've been doing research but cant find nothing about the stock turbo or what gauge i can use for a stage 2. Or t3 16g is better or a stage 2 tune

+Simon Kang those are the hitachi I think. I don't know what can be done with those, I'm not sure where to get the rebuild kits either. I have a set here but I don't know where to get the shaft to fix it

Hi there I have the Legacy 2010 gt what's your advice to upgrade the turbo without any changes or modification
+ahmed alyosef if you don't want to change much just do a tune and or 16g turbo upgrade. I can build you a 16g for 650 with a billet wheel
if I wiil go with the 16g do i need to make any other changes or only turbo swap ?

+joshuas10 I'm sure there is an upgrade for the compressor wheel because I did it a long time ago. The turbine housing is also machine able to a tdo5h 16g

+joshuas10 I upgraded one a few years ago but I don't remember what the upgrade options are. I remember thevupgraded compressor wheel was not much larger than the stock compressor wheel. An upgrade with the billet compressor wheel and rebuild we do for 350$. You could put that money toward buying a 16g or 20g though.
