Acessports for GD's are really more of an American thing. COBB doesn't support the GD model in Australia. I'd also say most, if not everyone in Australia largely prefers pro tunes rather than shit OTS tunes.

So much love these early STI’s!😍
I briefly go over it in this video towards the end but in my opinion the current MY15+ STI has certainly become a lot more sterile and tame. Much of sensation or what I would call ‘magic’ has been diluted in favour of refinement however it still makes for a fun ride and an epic daily nonetheless.

If it’s an 03 STi then is should have a v8 207 which doesn’t have forged pistons

Only Bugeye STI also known as the V7 STi came with Forged factory piston not the Blobeye " Version 8 sti " although the blob looks sexier ! From Bugeye , Blobeye , Hawkeye the Bug and Hawk have the best reliable engine not the Version 8 sti " blobeye "

It's a JDM Ver 8 so it would have had a EJ207 with a twinscroll turbo. Only the non-JDM STIs of that age had hypereutectic pistons instead of forged.

@@charlesmacgill1334 talking about JDM only the Blobeye version 8 sti and hawkeye version 9 sti came with hypereutectic pistons whereas the Bugeye Version 7 STI came with forged one ! Everything is slightly different inside the V8 sti had a nitrated crankshaft but not the V7 or V9 STI currently have 4 STI at my garage 2 V7 sti and 1 V8 sti and 1 V9 sti

@@hackercocaine6019 really? I thought they would have jammed the "forged" V7 internals in the V8 with the twinscroll setup to handle everything a bit better. I guess you learn something new everyday. Out of your STIs which is your favourite?

@@hackercocaine6019 I have a bugeye wagon that I intent to throw a V7 short block and 274/278 cams into and a liberty 6-speed to complete my "Ali-express STI". Going to be a bit of a budget build for track purposes. Currently makes a healthy 270 ATW/350 NM with essentially full STI bolt ons on a EJ205. A hell of a lot of fun as it sits so I'm not fussed.

No, the JDM bugeye STI had forged internals but blobeye onwards had hypereutectic cast pistons and rods.
