FYI when ordering your control arms, you can ask them to add the brake line bracket to your contral arm, might take a longer time to get your arm, but it worth the wait much better than using zip ties
I run the arms on my 2500, my truck would hop really bad in the sand, even with the tires at 20 psi. They handle well. They also allowed me to push my rear axle back the 1/2 required to full stuff my 38s when i wheel the truck.
@@Wimya I had to get new ones once i put my 6" zone lift on. The stock ones just cant stand up anymore to what i put my truck through. I also had to do the UCAs from zone. The only thing that core NEEDS to engineer is the upper control arms for trucks that have air ride. On the driverside is the lever that controls that system. Once they get that and the mount for the brakelines i think they will have the ram market cornered.
Are you going to be able to get to that grease zert with that placement? I was also wondering why the upgrade and curious how much they improve the ride. I'm sure its all objective but still. Do you notice the improvement?
Most RAM owners upgrade these because the stock ones blow out the bushings real easy. Starts to squeak and grind unless your constantly lubing it up... but that's just a band aid for a busted bushing. Getting these solves the problem
william robbins I take it you didn’t watch the entire video. I address that issue. But to answer your question, yes you can still get the fitting at attach to add grease.
Lex Mark there is no reason they are pointing up. All the fitting are pointing down except for 1 of them. Having them pointing down will make greasing them easier so make sure they are pointing down before install. BUT if they are pointing up you can still grease them.
@@DallinSchreiber yes. Lift is irrelevant. Your axel would still be pushed backwards. Your control arms keep the axel in line, once they are removed unless you are at full droop the spring/struts by nature pushes the axel backwards.
so I got a 2010 4x2. Its like the suspension is completely jacked. I replaced shocks which did help. Still is just seems like 1 corner or the truck bounces different. If you hit bump at any speed the truck wants to skew. I figured it was one of these control arm but I pull them and and they look fine. WTF?
Stephen Exley I guess it really all depends on what you need. If you’re experiencing all sort of wheel hop or want a more “planted” feel go with the LCA’s. If you are experiencing any sort of rear end shifting go with the panhard. Either way you can’t go wrong 🤘🏼

That’s good to know! I wonder if that is a new option as I haven’t seen any others with that bracket.
Could you not add wheel chocks so the axle assembly does not move backwards a bit?

Hell yea that’s awesome! I’ve been telling people these things really do help out a lot when it comes to eliminating wheel hop.
I ordered all 4 arms and the panhard bar for my ram.
Hell yea!! I have my eyes on the panhard bar as well.

bhrodeoaz I actually talked to CORE about making an Air ride specific UCA that has the Air link/arm on it. They said they would be looking into it.

Tim Ford I haven’t towed anything yet so I can’t comment on that but normal driving the rear end definitely seems stiffer. So far no complaints.

I would have thought pointing the grease fittings down by the axle would have been better. Can you get to them to add grease?
william robbins I take it you didn’t watch the entire video. I address that issue. But to answer your question, yes you can still get the fitting at attach to add grease.
@@Wimya I watched it 3 times and Nowhere on the Video did you mention the reason the grease fitting is facing upwards...
I agree with you...

have a 2017 ram rebel myself. Do you have a lift on this? wondering what the purpose of replacing them was.
Kevin Davis yea, I’m on a BDS 4” lift. My reason for the upgrade was better handling and eliminating wheel hop.
What would happen if you just adjusted the length to make the holes line up, instead of adjusting the jack/using a pry bar to make the holes line up?
Your axel would be pushed back and out of factory alignment
@@Wimya even if I put a 4 inch lift on it?

Great vid. Wondering if I should get both upper and lower control arms. Or just the lower. I get a lot of wheel hop from a hard launch or a burnout.
I would 100% recommend them to anyone who has wheel hop. Also the quality is top notch.
Wimya what about front shake and bake at higher speeds lol 😆
Triple_Threat_Mopars lmao 😂 if you ain’t first, you’re last.
Wimya that still doesn’t answer my comment 🤦♂️ 😝 , front sway bar and links need upgrade?
You would know better than I would brother, you’re the one driving it. I personally have no front end issue.
Did you pre grease them and what size is the nut by the Johnny joint
They came pre greased. I have no idea if the nut size sorry.
What size bolts and nuts did you buy to replace the originals? And where did you get them?
It’s a $15 option from Core4x4 for all new hardware
Did you ever have any rear vibration between 65-70mph after you installed your lift and tires?
No I never really had any vibration issues. Have you had your alignment checked recently?
Bro would love to see you install a secret compartment in your truck
Arron Allen that would be pretty sweet!
so I got a 2010 4x2.

oh and yeah thanks for the jack tip putting it back together.
We’re you going to upload a vid on your grill lights? I’d like to see how you did those
pro trick: watch movies on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Alex Kobe Definitely, I have been watching on flixzone for since november myself =)
Where's the FOX shocks? Is this before the BDS kit or did you change them out?
Nope, they were installed almost a year before I filmed this video.
What size bolt is it ?
Do you have to lift the truck how much to remove them
Yes. Enough to take the load off of the arms.
What lift height do I go with if I have a 5/7 from on my 4th gen ram?
Torque specs 190 in nm oder ft lbs? Thanks!
"It should be good." 🤣
For the record, it was. Lmao 😂
@@Wimya 👍🏻👍🏻😂
I feel like I’m getting axle hop at highway speed would these help with that
Yea 100%. That’s the reason I actually tried these out and it eliminated all rear hop for me.
The control arm will in tahoe 2007 to 2014
Aren’t the grease fittings supposed to face down
Having them face down makes greasing them easier but the job can still be done with them facing up.
Hit anything under that arm with the grease fitting down and they’re gone. Rock, curb, anything….
Is your truck lifted?
Yes. 4”
Why just the lowers and not all four.
Air ride equipped rams can’t switch out the uppers
What would be a better first purchase: Core Lower Control Arms or the Pan Bar for my 1500?

Freaking I ordered these the control arms are good but the nuts they sent me for the bolts where wrong too big
Dang!! Thats annoying!
@@Wimya right there track bar bolt don’t fit in the new track bar ether
What’s your Instagram?
Will I feel a difference.. I have a 2019 rebel leveled with the falcons shocks...
Possibly. I feel like It stiffened up the rear end for me and totally eliminated any hop.
